Mi dai la fonte, giusto ieri l'insider di Chicago escludeva Garcia ai Bears per un buon 90%. Voglio vedere qual è il livello di menzogna.

Now that QB Jeff Garcia is on the market, should the Bears pursue him?

Garcia told the Tampa Tribune that the Buccaneers informed his agent the quarterback was not in the team’s plans. Garcia started 11 games for the Bucs in 2008, throwing 12 touchdowns with six interceptions as the team finished 9-7, including losses in its last four games to fall out of playoff contention.

Enter the Bears, who have long had questions at quarterback. Kyle Orton started 15 games for the Bears in 2008 as the team finished 9-7, but he has just 18 starts over the past three seasons. Rex Grossman, who led the team to the Super Bowl in 2006, started just one game this season, a Week 10 loss to Tennessee, while Orton nursed a sore ankle.

Though Orton is expected to start for the Bears in 2009, the soon-to-be free agent Grossman likely won’t return.

While the team already has signed Brett Basanez during the offseason, Bears GM Jerry Angelo has implied that he wants another veteran quarterback, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Garcia, 38, could be the player to fill that role, though he has expressed a desire to start.

Ah beh, messa così potevano darci anche Warner come backup e Romo come terzo. Secondo me non verrà e, se dovesse venire, non so se avrà posto come titolare all'inizio. Ma poi non sarebbe ora di smettere?

Beh beh beh...qua tutto a questo punto inizia a delinearsi e a diventare chiaro...lo scriverò tra qualche settimana, ma già mi sembra che tutti abbiate chiara l'idea su come andrà a finire la prossima stagione...
