Io sono combattuto sull'ipotesi Cutler-49ers; il giocatore mi piace parecchio e soprattutto mi piace l'idea di avere finalmente un QB franchigia che copra il ruolo per almeno 7-8 anni però le perplessità, caratteriali e  tecniche, di cui parla Angy nel suo pezzo sono condivisibili.
Certo, se i Broncos si accontetassero della 10^ assoluta più S. Hill (e/o un back difensivo tipo Spencer o Roman) si potrebbe fare ma se bisogna mettere sul piatto titolari (tempo fa si ipotizzava Haralson o Lawson) o scelte in questo o nel prossimo draft meglio lasciar perdere.
Secondo me alla fine va ai Jets.

non trovo molti argomenti da contrapporre, forse sono solo accecato dal desiderio di avere un QB e non un qb
forse tirando le somme direi che il punto è se un QB/qb ci serve o no, e per rispondere bisogna capire che attacco vorremmo.

degli scenari:
1) Cutler dando via la 10
2) un qb preso alla 10
3) ci teniamo i nostri qb e alla 10 prendiamo un rinforzo per linea o pass rush

la seconda mi sembra la meno sensata, poi, leggendo il tuo articolo, la terza mi pare più sensata della prima

Ora non cambiano le prospettive di prendere un WR al draft (specie se ci arriva Crabtree), però il bisogno non diventa troppo impellente. Ma avere per un altro anno Bruce a roster è molto importante per far crescere i nostri giovani WR (in particolare Hill l'anno scorso pare abbia beneficiato molto dell'esempio di Bruce perché ha cambiato totalmente il suo atteggiamento nello spogliatoi in quanto l'anno prima era sostanzialmente....."una testa di c@zz@" :D e non era ben visto nello spogliatoio in quanto se la tirava parecchio senza aver dimostrato nulla).

Oltre a Raji arrivano anche il QB Josh Freeman (il terzo del draft secondo gli esperti) e un RB  Kory Sheets, mai sentito.

Ecco cosa pensa della scelta numero 10 dei niners riguardo ai QB

"I don't think they're necessarily getting that much better if they take a quarterback," Rang said. "You'd still have a young kid who is unproven, just like Alex (Smith) is. But at least Alex has been around and knows the system. And if he's going to be known as anything other than a bust, he's going to have to work his butt off. So he's going really be trying to prove something."

Q: So you don't believe Sanchez would make the 49ers better immediately?

Rang: "Personally, I really like Sanchez. I think he's got that indefinable 'it' quality to him. If he had an opportunity to play more, he could've been special and probably warrant No. 1 consideration. The fact he only has 16 starts, you can't take him at No. 1. I watch him and I see him make plays. He's a lot more savvy than he has any reason to be for as little as he played in college. He makes plays that get me all excited. Possibly, he would make San Francisco better, but not quickly enough to warrant that pick. If he's there, look for the 49ers to trade out with a few other teams jumping up to get him. But I don't think there's any chance in hell he'll still be there. Now, there is a possibility of teams trading up to get Freeman. Because once the other two go, it's a free-for-all. If you want a quarterback, you better take Freeman."

Mi è sempre sembrato strano il poco interesse che sembra esserci per Raji da parte dei niners.... E' vero che abbiamo forse need più urgenti e Franklin ha fatto un'ottima stagione l'anno scorso, ma ad occio B.J. sembra più forte e comunque Franklin è all'ultimo anno di contratto. Che si stia solo cercando di farlo passare sottovoce per poi sceglierlo?
