Retirement did not last long for quarterback Daunte Culpepper, who showed his interest in unretiring Thursday afternoon in an email.
In a week in which the Chiefs contacted him, after the Packers and Titans previously had this season, Culpepper now is preparing to sign with a team shortly, writing in his email, “I am going to take another shot at getting back in the League.”
He then wrote:
“A number of teams have contacted me since my retirement announcement and have provided some important information that has caused me to reconsider returning to the League. As much as I have enjoyed my brief break from playing, I know that I love the game and I have some unfinished business in the NFL. It has never been because of a lack of passion for the game but rather, the absence of a fair opportunity to compete and play that caused me to retire. Now that there are some real opportunities that match my desire to play, I will choose the one that is the best fit for both the team and me so that I can continue my NFL career. For the second half of this season, I hope to play a role in helping a team win some games. I want to thank all of those who encouraged me to ‘keep a light on’ for the right NFL opportunity that would eventually come back to me.”

Pensate che il buon Daunte possa tornare a giocare a livelli decenti ? E se la risposta è sì a chi potrebbe interessare ?

Scherzi a parte in settimana l'hanno cercato i Chiefs, prima era toccato ai Pats e forse anche a qualcun'altro.
Il fatto che possa interessare è relativo, perchè prima bisognerebbe capire in che stato di forma si trova e che tipo di giocatore ti ritroveresti davanti in caso tornasse, ovvero se ti cucchi il QB capace di rintracciare Moss in ogni angolo di campo grazie al cannone che si ritrova al posto del braccio, oppure l'atleta cazzaro delle ultime stagioni che pensava più a correre, per far vedere di non aver perso la sua anima di QB colored, che a lanciare.
Tornasse come passer senza troppe velleità sulle corse, dove tra l'altro è sempre a rischio di rompersi nuovamente, allora non farebbe comodo a quei pochi, ma a tanti, a partire dai suoi ex Vikings, per esempio, fino ai neo orfani Cowboys.
Ripeto...van valutate tante cose...

Domenica le partite sono un'ora prima del solito, o no? Mi sembra che in America non passino all'ora solare questo weekend!? Non mi ricordo mai, cazzo!

Sì, esatto..infatti la partita di Londra si gioca alle nostre 18...dalla prox dovrebbe essere di nuovo tutto normale..

avrei scommesso una pinta di gasolio (con quel che costa...) che lo prendevano proprio loro.

No scusate non sono 1 ora dopo?

Il fuso attualmente è di 6 ore (con la costa Est), le gare dell'1 sono alle nostre 19, se noi andiamo 1 ora indietro stanotte il fuso diventa di 7 ore, le gare di Domani dell'1 non vanno alle 20 nostre?
