Qualcuno pero' mi diceva che oltre a sospensione e multa per 4 partite, e' stato anche messo in IR (per motivi non legati a infortunio). Me lo confermate?

Se cosi' fosse non potrebbe rientrare nemmeno per i PO....

Giants suspend Burress, officially ending season

The Giants placed wide receiver Plaxico Burress on the reserve/non-football injury list on Tuesday, officially ending his season. The team also fined Burress and suspended him for four games for conduct detrimental to the team for multiple and repeated violations of club rules.

Burress met individually today with Giants president John Mara, general manager Jerry Reese and head coach Tom Coughlin, according to a release from the team.

“As we have said since Saturday morning, our concern is for Plaxico’s health and well-being,” Mara said. “This is an important time for him to take care of his body and heal up and also deal with the very serious legal consequences and other issues in his life. When I spoke with Plaxico he expressed great remorse for letting down his teammates.”

“The decision we made today regarding Plaxico’s roster status was based on the examination of Plaxico by our team physician,” Reese said. “Dr. Rodeo believes Plaxico would be out at least four to six weeks with the gunshot wound. I had two conversations with Plaxico today, and it was obvious that he understood the magnitude of this situation. He knows that we are here to support him and help him get healthy.”

Una discussione sul forum del Pro Sport Daily sul nostro #1 WR, io direi Hixon assolutamente, anche se alcuni fans volevano Toomer con #1.

Nella sfiga di dover perdere un talento mostruoso come Plaxico, siamo "fortunati" a perderlo nel raparto con più profondità.. chi sia il numero uno non saprei, sicuramente il più duttile e il più sorprendente fino ad ora Hixon.. :bicchieremezzopieno:

Io da tifoso dico nessuno  :D , almeno fino a che la squadra evita di sfasciarsi da sola o non salta qualche altro ginocchio importante 
Comunque, dopo una settimana di rimuginamenti su chi come e perché di uno che probabilmente s'è sputtanatao la carriera (e molto sicuramente 24 milioni di dollari !!!!!  ) per andare in un club con una pistola carica e senza sicura, finalmente siamo alle soglie del game day, e alle soglie della possibilità di vincere la division. Westbrook è questionabile, forse un problema in meno. E' chiaro che a questo giro non dovranno raddopiare Plaxico  , ma a lasciare soli Toomer e Dixon, con un Menning tipo domenica scorsa, può creargli molti problemi Se poi si corre 200 yards come a Philadelphia, gli si fa fare la fine del noto fantasma formaggino, si spalmano    :D
Speriamo che la settimana non sia stata troppo distrattiva  :sbadat:

I Giants sono indubbiamente in un bel momento ma la storia di questo sporti insegna che la cosa importante è arrivare nella condizione giusta al superbowl, francamente in post season tutto può succedere soprattutto perchè son tutte partite secche.

Sono d'accordo ma mi permetto di corregerti un dettaglio.. la storia di questo sport insegna che la cosa importante è arrivare nella condizione giusta ai play-off.. :lowprofile:  :gazza:

Il reparto più debole è chi non crede in questo gruppo..
