Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that the Lions are trying to deal Roy Williams with just hours remaining before the trade deadline.
General manager Martin Mayhew said Monday that Williams wasn't being shopped, but Schefter reports that the Lions are working the phones and may have been in talks with the Cowboys. Detroit is said to be asking for more than a first-round pick, which would make a deal very unlikely.

Non una trade, ma un movimento che riguarda l'MVP di 2 stagioni orsono . Shaun Alexander sembra ad un passo dal firmare con i Redskins, dato che dopo l'infortunio di Betts i Reds cercano un backup di Portis.
Un duo Portis-Alexander è veramente potenzialmente pericolosissimo.

Adam Schefter of NFL Network noted earlier that the Lions asked for DeMarcus Ware in exchange for Williams, which the Cowboys hopefully laughed at.
