Chiaro, no? Se si mette lo stesso rilievo contro lo stesso battitore l'effetto "sorpresa" svanisce è il battitore ha immediato vantaggio."I figured [Sipp] was going to throw [his slider] because I faced him [Monday] night and he threw all fastballs and then he made me look kind of stupid [tonight] with his first pitch slider. After he came up and in, I figured he was going to try and go down and away with the slider."
poteva affidarsi subito a Sipp e magari Koba
Think about it this way – how many times has an Indians’ starter contributed a Quality Start, left the game with a lead, and watched the game being closed by scoreless IP from bullpen? Before giving this answer, remember that the Indians have now played 27 games…ready yet?

1 time over 27 games has an Indian starter thrown 6 or more innings, allowing 3 or fewer earned runs, left with a lead, and watched the bullpen close out the game without allowing a run.
The bullpen implosion is near completion as, at this point, there’s no confidence in anyone down in the bullpen and reservations abound about everyone in the bullpen…and that includes Kerry Wood, whose control has been less than stellar.
The selection of which reliever coming out of the bullpen has turned into a game of Russian Roulette, where you know the kill shot is eventually coming…you just don’t know where it’s coming from. Just when you think that one of the relievers has turned the corner, an implosion occurs for that reliever
da http://www.indiansprospectinsider.com/Jeremy Sowers was a late scratch from his scheduled start last night, a change that came in shortly before the start of the game. Zach Jackson made the spot start for Triple-A Columbus instead. Sowers is not injurred, and it looks like he is either on his way to Cleveland or has been traded. If he is on his way to Cleveland, it will be interesting to see how he is used and if he goes into the bullpen or rotation, and who would come out of the rotation if he ends up there.

Herges carries a career 40-34 record and 3.94 ERA in 537 appearances in the Majors, mostly in a relief role. He was 1-2 with a 5.40 ERA and four saves in 11 appearances as the Columbus closer
Sono curioso di sapere che fine farà Sowers...RHP Frank Herrmann has been promoted from Double-A Akron to Triple-A Columbus. RHP Jack Cassel was moved to Mahoning Valley to make room for Herrmann, though as reported earlier LHP Jeremy Sowers has left Columbus and Herrmann will ultimately be replacing him most likely. Still no word on what Sowers' situation is, whether he is being traded or in Boston with the Indians for another forthcoming roster move.
Also, RHP Greg Aquino has been activated from the Columbus disabled list and takes the roster spot of RHP Matt Herges who was promoted to Cleveland earlier today.
Mossa a sorpresa.
"You've got to have people come up from the bullpen and get people out," Cleveland manager Eric Wedge said. "It just can't keep happening. We've tried everybody."

Frank Herrmann:Herrmann To The Bullpen
Well, remember that "mid-level starting pitching prospect from Double-A" that Shapiro talked about on Wednesday that they were considering for a bullpen role? Looks like RHP Frank Herrmann was that guy, though he may not be the only one. Herrmann was moved up to Triple-A Columbus on Wednesday, but he has not taken over the starting duties as expected for departed starter Jeremy Sowers. Instead, LHP Zach Jackson is moving into the Columbus rotation and Herrmann is going to the bullpen.
Si, ora è ufficiale. Minor league deal e sarà su a Cleveland abbastanza presto.
