Si parla di un possibile passaggio di Guillen ai Mets, in cambio di Pagan:
The Royals, who are looking to deal outfielder Jose Guillen, identified the Mets as a potential trading partner, although there was no deal considered close, sources said.
The Royals want to acquire an inexpensive outfielder in return for Guillen, and are impressed with Angel Pagan despite his shortcomings. They'd be willing to eat money in a swap: Guillen is owed $12 million in 2010, the final season of a three-year, $36 million deal.
Inoltre, sulla sezione rumors di espn.com, si parla degli Orioles come possibili per Figgins e Lackey (a quanto pare il team ha già avuto contatti con gli agenti dei due giocatori), in quanto il loro payroll attuale è solamente di 29.5 milioni di dollari, quindi avrebbero molti $ disponibili da spendere per la Free Agency.
Per il momento però sembra che non ci sia alcun interesse nei confronti di Holliday e Bay.

Gia, ma non vol dire che sia FALSO (l'offerta), no? E` alleged, potrebbe anche essere stata un offerta vera o no? E molto probabilmente l'offerta gli e` stata fatta..... fonte mio zio.

The fact that he ``rejected’’ a four-year proposal worth something close to $60 million is no news at all.
Perchè dobbiamo credere ad una fonte anonima e non a Mazz allora.
Sono tutte palle, scrivere cifre senza averne le prove vuol dire scrivere a caso.
L'unico che sa cifre - forse - qui dentro è Renè e sono quelle di Arizona.
Che poi...nel range di 4 anni, quindi da 3 a 5, nel range di 60 milioni, quindi da 50 a 70.
Sai che news: da 3 a 5 anni, da 50 a 70 milioni...wow...il massimo della variabilità.
