Altri update sugli infortunati:Shin-Soo Choo situation. I had reported that it was a triceps issue, not an elbow issue. But as any renowned doctor will tell you, the triceps runs just above the elbow, so they can certainly be interrelated.
That being said, by all accounts around here, Choo's injury does not appear to be serious. Best guess is that he is limited to DH duties for the South Korean team
Kerry Wood (sore lower back) is throwing a bullpen today, a simulated session Saturday and is scheduled to make his Cactus League debut Tuesday.
Travis Hafner (right shoudler surgery) is, indeed, making his debut Friday against the Brewers.
Miller will be shut down another week to 10 days because of soreness in his right middle finger, head athletic trainer Lonnie Soloff said. After that period, Miller will begin an expedited return-to-throw program that will last about two weeks. The tentative goal is to get him in about four to six Cactus League games after that point.
