Braylon Edwards soffre di un problema alla spalla (infortunata contro i Redskins) e per questo sta giocando poco e male dopo il rientro. Probabile anche che venga fatto riposare fino ad, eventuali, play offs. Ha parlato poi anche dell'incomprensione con Smith sull'intercetto di giovedì dicendo che lui ha visto il CB andare in copertura interna per poi andare sull'esterno, mentre Smith l'ha visto andare sull'interno e lì ha lanciato.

-SMITH: Good question, how am I going to word this? I think on offense, and I really mean this, we’ve only begun to scratch the surface of what we can do. Really only kind of toyed with what we can become and when we play well and kind of firing on all cylinders.
The defense is playing really well right now, special teams… I mean, we’re playing as a team, playing good football across the board.
But I think on offense, we’ll show it in spurts here and there, but really haven’t really scratched it… for me, and I’ve said this before, that’s the encouraging thing. That’s the scary thing for all of us—we haven’t really hit it yet.
-Q: Haven’t really needed to.
-SMITH: Yeah, and have been winning games like that. Boy, wait until we really get going and get in a groove.

Ma visti i nostri problemi fra i WR e che i Jags hanno tagliato la nosta vecchia conoscenza Jason Hill...come la vedreste? A me piaceva molto il ragazzo, e mi pare avesse un buon feeling con Alex Smith.

In attesa dell'importante partita di stasera sembra esserci una svolta importante per questione nuovo stadio:
SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- The 49ers are a big step closer to moving from San Francisco to a new stadium about 45 miles south in Santa Clara.
The team and City of Santa Clara announced on Friday that they have secured long-awaited funding for the project. Goldman Sachs, Bank of America-Merrill Lynch and U.S. Bank have agreed to an $850 million loan with the city's stadium authority and the 49ers.
The money will cover the bulk of the estimated $1 billion project. Funding from the National Football League, a hotel tax and city redevelopment funds is expected to make up the difference.
Officials say the loans were the last major piece of the project. The goal is to open the new stadium in 2015.

Intanto sembra che Bradford non dovrebbe giocare, o quanto meno al momento non si sta allenando con i compagni.
Mentre è sicuro che Edwards è inactive.

Non una grande partita ma contava l'obiettivo e finalmente si puà dire: MISSIONE COMPIUTA!
Willis fuori nel primo quarto per infortunio ma non dovrebbe essere nulla di grave. Gore supera Perry ed entra nella storia.
