Quando un nome e la storia di un coach arrivano alle orecchie anche di chi segue poco, pochissimo un determinato sport vuol dire che quel coach è Leggenda. RIP :notworthy:

rimbalza la voce che nel processo di espansione della SEC oltre alle già sentite Clemson, Florida State e Miami si parli nientepopodimenoche di UNC....mah...mi lascia perplesso...staremo a vedere....

Ma l'espansione della Pac10 a discapito della Big12 che sta avvenendo nel football riguarderà anche il basket opure no?...

Certo. Riguarda tutti gli sport sotto la Pac10. O quantomeno non ho letto il contrario.

Però...domanda mia da ignorante in materia...a quanto mi pare...già ora ci sono delle sensibili differenze nella composizione delle conference tra football e basket o mi sbaglio? quindi non è necessariamente detto che un ateneo debba per forza trasferire tutti gli sport in una conference?

Diciamo che c'è una sensibile differenza nella composizione delle conference tra football e resto del Mondo. (tralasciando l'hockey che ha le sue conference per un discorso prettamente geografico, lo giocano in molto poche e quasi tutte in determinate aree degli States)theref86 wrote:

In quanto altri sport hanno tantissime università che li fanno (il basket lo fanno tutti, ad esempio), il football meno; inoltre c'è troppa differenza tra le migliori e le altre e quindi la division I è divisa in 3 (BCS, I-A, I-AA), con delle università (Georgetown e Villanova ad esempio) che sono in una conference prestigiosa (Big East) per gli altri sport ma non hanno un gran programma di football e si spostano in I-A (mi pare A10).
