addio a John Rauch, l'head coach che portò i Raiders al Super Bowl II.
Entrò nel coaching staff nel 1963, poi nel 1966 fu promosso capoallenatore (posizione che ricoprì fino al 1969, quando iniziò l'era di John Madden).

un altro paio di movimenti minori, entrambi nel reparto linebackers. Tagliato l'undrafted rookie Shane Simmons, mentre torna dopo un lungo infortunio Grant Irons. Difficile riesca a sopravvivere ai prossimi tagli...

Fox 5 Las Vegas reports that Raiders WR Javon Walker was found unconscious with an "orbital fracture" on Flamingo Boulevard just off the Las Vegas strip early Monday morning.
We caution that no other source has reported the news yet. Police reportedly don't know how he got the fracture, but he was listed in fair condition at an area hospital Monday. The Las Vegas Review Journal spotted Walker Saturday night at the Wynn spraying Dom Perignon Rose champagne he ordered.
