Non me ne frega fondamentalmente niente di questa discussione, diatriba tra i sostenitori di Brady e quelli di Manning. Io se dovessi prenderne uno andrei con Brady, senza neanche pensarci su un secondo. Voglio comunque aggiungere un paio di cose a quei bei numeri che ha postato Go Colts.

Siccome per lanciare un TD pass c'è bisogno che dall'altra parte ci sia qualcuno a riceverlo direi di andare a vedere a chi lanciavano la palla i due signori in questione nelle annate citate. Facile parlare leggendo solo i numeri...

Quindi, lasciando perdere questa stagione, i migliori WR che Brady ha mai avuto sono stati Deion Branch e Troy Brown che non valgono una piede nè di Harrison tantomeno di Wayne. Se andiamo adesso a vedere i numeri allora quei 6 TD di differenza che ci sono nel 2003, quei 2 del 2005 e quei 7 del 2006 non mi sembrano poi così esorbitanti (lasciamo perdere la stagione dei 49 che è stata magica e quella del 2002 in qui Brady ne lanciò uno in più). O sbaglio?

Con questo non voglio dire che uno sia più forte dell'altro o far cambiare parere a qualcuno, ci mancherebbe, sono due fenomeni che appena si ritireranno andranno dritti a Canton, però cercate di essere obbiettivi quando parlate dell'uno e dell'altro, non c'è bisogno di spalare merda su di uno perchè vi piace meno dell'altro.

Un solo appunto: se mi dici che il Wayne del 2001, 2002, 2003 è lo stesso di adesso mi pare una forzatura bella e buona...

Far segnare 10 TD a Stockley nell'anno dei 49 TD quella è sì un'impresa...

E se io dovessi scegliere qualcuno, sceglierei la difesa dei Pats dal 2001 al 2005...  :gazza:

Ovvio che no, ma nel 2001 (3° per rec, 2° per rec yds, 2° per rec TD), 2002 (1° per rec, 1° per rec yds, 3° per rec TD) e 2003 (7° per rec, 6° per rec yds, 4° per rec TD) Harrison era uno dei top three WR della Lega. Far a segnare 10 TD a Stokley può essere più semplice di quello che si pensi (con un fenomeno come Manning, ovvio che con Sorgi sarebbe stato diverso) visto che la double coverage andava sempre su Harrison e/o Wayne, partendo dallo slot Stokley si trovava spesso contro un singolo defensive back e Manning non aveva difficoltà a metterlo nelle condizioni di segnare.

si va be, allora vuoi dirmi che brady faceva fare un td pure a me e che Manning ha sempre avuto solo i + forti... come dire che chiunque, pure il rex grossmann di turno poteva fare gli stessi td di manning mentre brady poverino ha avuto solo pippe... e che tutto il merito è solo di brady.... come se manning fosse uno qualunque vero? ma daaaaaaaaai....
