Tra l'altro avete appena DFA Matt Herges. Ma non era un pezzo affidabile del vostro BP? Ho visto poche partite degli Indians quest'anno ma mi pare che Herges fosse uno dei pochi decenti, no?

Ricciardi told ESPN.com's Buster Olney that he prepared his ace for a possible trade. Halladay told his GM that he will listen if Ricciardi decides on a deal and needs approval.
"We're going to see what's out there," Ricciardi told Olney.
Speaking to the Canadian Press, Ricciardi said he's not confident the Jays and Halladay have a future once their current deal expires after next year.
"I'm not so sure payroll-wise where we're going to be able to be after 2010," he said. "I'm not so sure that the player wants to stay here beyond 2010."
Bowden+Anderson+Kalish basterebbero? :gazza: Ci sarebbe sicuramente da pagare un permium per far si che Ricciardi lo scambi nella division.
Altrimenti Braves? Rangers? Milwaukee (anche se hanno detto che i loro top prospects sono intoccabili)?

Ricciardi ha detto che urgenza di cederlo non ce l'hanno, anzi son ben felici nel caso di tenerlo, e che quindi l'offerta dovrà essere super.
Io sono dell'idea che non si muoverà, così come non si muoverà Cliff Lee da Cleveland. Il pitcher più pregiato a cambiare squadra sarà niente poco di meno che Brad Penny.

Diamondbacks e White Sox si scambiano Tony Pena e Brandon Allen.
Pena è sotto contratto per i prossimi 3 anni (in arbitration), ma Brandon Allen è un ottimo prospetto che copre un buco a livello organizzativo e che l'anno prossimo dovrebbe essere titolare in prima base. Molto, molto bene così.

Halladay sta bene a Toronto e Toronto sta bene con Halladay. Il "problema" è che Halladay vuole giustamente provare a vincere qualcosa e, realisticamente, è difficile con gli attuali Blue Jays, specie se si considera che l'attuale tendenza pare essere a diminuire il payroll, più che ad aumentarlo.
Vedremo, certo che vedere tutti quei soldi bloccati fino al 2014 per due esterni che non battono mi fa un pò incazzare.
