Ve la butto così, senza un commento.
Mi hai anticipato. Sto imprecando da una buona mezz'oretta. Questa e altre prodezze nella conferenza stampa di Manuel.
It will be a tough decision choosing between Frank Catalanotto and Chris Carter.
Carter has been the ideal guy, in terms of his ‘fight’ and his ‘grind,’ while Catalanotto has the experience and ‘versatility.’
The Mets will make some decisions on the roster following tonight’s game.
The team has enough talent in the bullpen to ‘get the job done.’
He wants Jenrry Mejia to be on the Opening Day roster.
Mejia has the best arm of any reliever in camp.
Mejia could eventually be the team’s set-up man this year.
Alex Cora will be his starting shortstop on Opening Day.
Ruben Tejada can be an everyday, major-league second baseman.
He will play both Angel Pagan and Gary Matthews Jr. based on match ups.
Pagan will hit leadoff, when he is in the starting lineup.
He is leaning towards breaking up his right-handed bats in the lineup with Mike Jacobs, most likely batting clean up, as he will get the bulk of the playing time at first base.
Fernando Tatis will replace Jacobs late in games for defense.
This team can tread water until Jose Reyes and Carlos Beltran get back.
The experience and positivity from Matthews, Rod Barajas and Jason Bay has been great for the clubhouse, which is in good spirits.
