Io credo che finchè LeBeau sarà il nostro D# Coordinator lo schema resterà quello che è. Dovessimo restare senza di lui allora sì che si potrebbe pensare ad un cambiamento visto e considerato che lo stesso Tomlin sulla carta predilige usare la 4-3. In quel caso comunque bisognerebbe rivoltare come un calzino il pacchetto del front-seven perchè adesso come adesso non abbiamo il personale adatto per giocare quel tipo di difesa.

Io comunque per l'anno prossimo sono pronto a scommettere su Woodley, nelle poche occasioni in cui ha avuto l'opportunità di mettersi in mostra ha sempre fatto vedere cose molto interessanti. Spero giocherà con continuità (potrebbe benissimo prendere il posto di Haggans), la doppia cifra nei sacks non dovrebbe essere un miraggio...

Si passerebbe a una 4 3 o si rimarrebbe a una 3 4? In entrambi i casi, chi sarebbero i DL?

Per la 4-3 bisognerebbe cambiare un bel pò di cose, a partire dalla conformazione del roster: sono anni che abbiamo 6 DL e 8/9 LB a roster....per giocare la 4-3, visto che le rotazioni dei DLinemen sono molto più frequenti, questi numeri andrebbero praticamente invertiti.

Quest'anno come gioco di situazione a volte veniva chiamato un fronte 4 con Aaron Smith, Chris Hoke, Casey Hampton e Brett Keisel.

Farrior entra nell'ultimo anno di contratto e non è detto che venga esteso: dei due inside LB, Timmons sembra proprio destinato a prenderne il posto. Comunque se nel corso della prossima stagione non comincia ad erodere un pò del playing time di Larry Foote, comincio a considerarlo una scelta mal ponderata.

Ma Foote ho letto da qualche parte che o è FA o lo tagliano... può essere o mi sbaglio con Haggans? Perchè Timmons mi sembra che abbia grosse possibilità di giocare da starter il prossimo anno... :gazza:

Woodley è un OLB da 3-4 ma può giocare bene anche da DE in una 4-3, infatti è stato draftato come DE :fanta: :D

Sì ma il College è una cosa, l'NFL è un'altra. Il futuro di Wood tra i pro è senza ombra di dubbio di OLB..

Se non lo si mette a giocare tutti i down può essere una buona acquisizione...il problema è che lui adesso è in cerca dell'ultimo contratto importante della carriera, non credo sia molto disposto a prendere i soldi di un back-up.

Proprio l'altro giorno stavo pensando a quanto sarà dura la nostra schedule per la prossima stagione, ed ecco che stamattina mi trovo le stesse cose sul pezzo di Peter King:
