ENGLEWOOD, Colo. (AP)—The Arapahoe County Sheriff says Denver Broncos wide receiver Kenny McKinley(notes) has been found dead in his home.

Sheriff Grayson Robinson says detectives are investigating the death.

Authorities were called to McKinley’s home in Centennial on Monday afternoon and found his body.

McKinley was a second-year pro who was on the team’s injured reserve list. He played in eight games as a rookie in 2009 with seven kick returns for 158 yards.

The Broncos released a statement from coach Josh McDaniels, who called McKinley’s death “a tragic loss.”

McKinley is the third Broncos player to pass away suddenly in the past four years. CB Darrent Williams was killed in a drive-by shooting, and RB Damien Nash collapsed suddenly at a charity basketball event. McKinley was on injured reserve for a recurring knee ailment at the time of his death. Our thoughts and prayers go out to McKinley's family and friends and the entire Broncos organization.

Non avevo visto il post qua e l'ho scritto in quello generale.

Una notizia assurda, se viene confermato il suicidio....un ragazzo di 23 anni con una buona carriera davanti...non ha senso...

A volte mi chiedo cosa possa portare un ragazzo di 23 anni ad un gesto così insulso.

potremmo avere una stagione sportiva vincente
ma comunque anche questa sara' sempre una stagione PERDENTE!

Certo che poi leggi i coccodrilli del corriere e ti cascano le braccia. si uccide perchè diventato riserva a causa di un infortunio?  a parte che gli infortuni sono due,è stato in IR metà dell'anno scorso e lo sarebbe stato anche tutto quest'anno per un infortunio in preseason. non è mai stato titolare. ma accidenti. si tratta solo di tradurre... no si vuole fare la notizia. aumentare il pathos aggiungendo la frase a effetto "prima di essere relegato tra le riserve.". che schifo.
