Complete game e sconfitta per Felix (2 H, 1 ER, 4 BB e 5 K) ERA abbassata a 2.31 (seconda in MLB, dietro solo a Josh Johnson 2.30).
A Pittsburgh invece i Cards sono sopra 9-1 nella parte bassa del settimo, i Pirates hanno la prima e la seconda occupate con 0 outs.

Perfect game di Lincecum interrotto al sesto da un doppio di Smith. Nostro attacco ignobile per cui è ancora 0-0.

No, il vantaggio era molto ampio, quindi anche se faceva schifo, l'ha tenuto col pitch count basso. Ci può stare. Partita molto bella per gli attacchi.
