I giants si assicurano il futuro:
The Giants spent big money to make sure Eli Manning remains their quarterback for many years to come. Forget about Manning's inconsistency in his first three seasons; he's here to stay. The Giants exercised a "buy-back" of Manning's contract earlier this month, a move that keeps the fourth-year quarterback under contract through the 2012 season, Newsday has learned. Had the Giants not made the move, Manning would have become a free agent after the 2007 season. The move wasn't cheap. According to league sources familiar with Manning's contract, the Giants gave him a $5-million buy-back bonus as well as a $3-million roster bonus.

Ma io ricordo di aver letto recentemente che ha appena rifirmato coi Texans - contratto di un anno se non sbaglio

Dayne è stato a visitare gli Eagles sul finire della settimana scorsa...
Poi gli Eagles hanno deciso di rifirmare Buckhalter come backup e lui ha rifirmato per i Texans!

quel ruolo è l'unico in cui abbiamo problemi
, visto i recenti ,numerosi e importanti acquisti fatti per la difesa.

sembra che siamo in pole position davanti a Phila e Detroit per aggiudicarci Al Wilson dei Broncos che devono tagliare un pò di ingaggi onerosi (ma non è un MLB? o ha giocato anche da esterno ?). il Pro Bowler dovrebbe affiancare Antonio Pearce

sì Wilson oltre che capitano della difesa ed aver speso tutta la carriera in quel di Denver è proprio un MLB. :disgusto: (la faccina è per l'ipotetica trade dettata solo da motivi economici).

I Giants potrebbero aver trovato il "rimpiazzo" di Al Wilson in Kawika Mitchell (KC)
After trade talks for Broncos linebacker collapsed March 23, just before the deal was about to go through, the New York Giants arranged March 25 for Kansas City free-agent linebacker Kawika Mitchell to visit today. Pending a physical, the New York Giants are expected to reach agreement on a one-year deal with Mitchell.
