Il vestito di Danny meritava miglior sorte. :lol2:

According to Alex Kennedy of Hoopsworld.com, sources confirm that the Indiana Pacers are trying to move the tenth overall pick. The team doesn’t expect to have the pick on draft night. Recently, Chad Ford suggested the Pacers could use this pick to bring Tony Parker in Indiana.

Re: Indiana Pacers v.3 - Draft Time

Re: Indiana Pacers v.3 - Draft Time

Re: Indiana Pacers v.3 - Draft Time
Trade in vista?

T-Wolves turn down Pacers offer of the 10th pick for PG Jonny Flynn.
e
The Timberwolves are offering the Pacers Jonny Flynn and the 16th and 23rd picks for a package that includes Indiana's 10th pick.
According to Mike Wells of the Indy Star, the Pacers have turned down an offer from.

Re: Indiana Pacers v.3 - Draft Time
Focused on winning, Bird ponders options at No. 10
There has been a lot of smoke, in the form of trade rumors and speculation, about the Pacers trying to trade the No. 10 pick in the NBA Draft Thursday night.
Larry Bird did little to douse the embers this morning at his pre-draft media briefing.
Saying "it's time to win here," (si, le ultime 20...) Bird acknowledged he was involved in trade talks with a number of teams.
"I want to win. Our team wants to win," he said. "If the right deal comes up we would probably move forward. You never know what's going to happen but it's time to win here."
With Earl Watson a free agent, A.J. Price coming back from knee surgery and T.J. Ford in the final year of his contract, the Pacers' primary need is point guard but beyond likely top pick John Wall, this year's draft class is thin at the position. In fact, the No. 2 point guard picked could be Wall's backup at Kentucky, Eric Bledsoe, generally regarded as late first-round prospect.
That has fueled speculation Bird will try to leverage the No. 10 pick in a deal to acquire a long-term solution at the point, a position that has been something of a revolving-door in recent years. The Pacers have been linked in published reports with Minnesota (Jonny Flynn), San Antonio (George Hill), New Orleans (Darren Collison), Charlotte (D.J. Augustin) and Denver (Ty Lawson).
"There's a lot of options out there," said Bird. "At this stage we're talking to different teams. There's nothing concrete right now but we do have a lot of offers out there, a lot of scenarios. You look at all your options, and we have some, and try to make the best deal."
If no deal involving the No. 10 is made, the Pacers may face a difficult decision. Butler star Gordon Hayward, who led the Bulldogs to the NCAA title game, is an Indianapolis native that is expected to be available. Though a wing player is not high on the list of the Pacers' priorities, Hayward might be tough to pass.
"Hayward's a pretty good player," Bird said. "I don't think he's getting his due. He could be taken anywhere from seven or eight to 18. He's got a good basketball IQ, he's got a lot of talent and I think he'll do well in this league."
If they hold onto the 10th pick, the Pacers are more likely to select from a relatively bountiful crop of athletic big men. They had Baylor's Ekpe Udoh in twice and will take a second look at Kentucky's Daniel Orton today. Other possibilities include North Carolina's Ed Davis and Kentucky's Patrick Patterson.
A wild card in the power forward mix is Tyler Hansbrough. Drafted No. 13 last year out of North Carolina, Hansbrough missed most of his rookie season with a combination of an inner ear infection and post-concussion syndrome. He has resumed individual workouts and Bird expects him to be ready to play in 2010-11 but isn't yet sure what to expect.
"It's an uncertainty right now how Tyler's going to come back," Bird said. "He's doing better. He's working out but he hasn't played. All indications are he's going to be fine but I haven't seen him play with other players on the court."
The Pacers also hold two second-round picks, Nos. 40 and 57.
Bird wishes Artest well
Bird said he held no ill will toward Ron Artest, who admitted after winning the NBA title with the Lakers that he felt like a coward who bailed out on the Pacers with the actions that led to his departure in 2006.
"We're happy for him," Bird said. "Everybody knows he's a good guy. Ronnie's a good kid that works hard. You don't want guys that have been here to do badly. You want them to do well.
"He doesn't owe us anything. We've moved on and wish him all the best."

Dal Twitter di Wells:
Bird: "We did call Minnesota but it wasn’t about our 10th pick. We've called just about every team in the league."
Bird on why he's reluctant to trade Rush: "I just hate to give up on a young player too soon"
