PUJOLS REACHES 1600-HIT MILESTONE
Albert Pujols' fourth-inning home run on Saturday was the 1600th hit of his major-league career. Pujols reached that milestone in 4792 at-bats, the second-lowest total of any active player, behind Todd Helton (4773). The only other active players to reach the 1600-hit plateau in fewer than 5000 at-bats are Ichiro Suzuki (4802) and Vladimir Guerrero (4924).

Khalil Greene è tornato a St.Louis e si allenerà per giocare in 3B, lasciando così spazio a Ryan e T.Greene come SS, visto che stann giocando bene. Ho paura che le chance di Glaus di vedere il campo quest'anno siano sempre minori.

io penso che sia il contrario.
se si cercano soluzioni interne per tamponare la falla in terza significa che il buco non è eterno.
Altrimenti ci si sarebbe rivolti al mercato.

Non si sa e i tempi dati dallo staff medico dei Cards non sono molto attendibili. Si aspettano news

Finalmente ieri abbiam preso a pallate un top pitcher...e che pallate! Albert picchia il numero 23 dell'anno, ma è tutta la squadra a girare finalmente. Bene anche Wainwright!

Seconda serie vinta consecutiva, altro stellare outing di Carpenter finalmente supportato dall'attacco che registra anche un altro hr di Khalil Greene, il secondo in due giorni. Stasera si può pensare allo sweep....
