News per domenica: per Gore Nolan deciderà nel prepartita, Harris e Jennings sono fuori, così come K.Lewis. Smith si è allenato bene, meglio della scorsa settimana (speriamo...), Jackson, Walker e "The Beer Man" Lewis dovrebbero tutti essere a disposizione per una partita che va' assolutamente vinta:

Ho finito l'ottimismo. Non ho visto tutta la partita, ma a parte le assenze pesanti, mi è sembrato di vedere la squadra della prima parte della scorsa stagione, incapace di essere continua e di capitalizzare le occasioni. Continuano i problemi sulle conversioni di terzi down, nostre e loro, a niente basta la buona prestazione della linea offensiva se poi Smith dimostra di non aver assorbito ancora l'infortunio lanciando spesso male (con i ricevitori che non lo aiutano di certo). Alcune chiamate mi fanno completamente perdere le speranze sul fatto che Hostler possa essere un buon OC. Pensiamo a terminare a testa alta la stagione.

Sono veramente senza parole. Crescono le perplessità su Nolan e su Smith ed a questo punto sono curioso di vedere cosa accadrà a fine stagione.

io invece ho paura che per smith non si tratti solo del problema alla spalla... il ragazzo è al 3 anno e non ha ancora lanciato 300 yards in una partita. la cosa è preoccupante

POSTGAME UPDATE: Linebacker Patrick Willis played most of the game with a broken right hand. He said he sustained the injury on the second series of the game. Willis still managed a team-high 10 tackles and one sack. The break is on the same hand on which Willis had a broken finger last season. He is not expected to require surgery and he will likely continue to play, a team spokesman said. . . . Smiley dislocated his right shoulder. He had to take a muscle relaxer and the team's medical staff had to work for 20 minutes to get his shoulder to pop back into its socket. He will undergo an MRI on Monday, and he says he would like to play the remainder of the season and possible undergo surgery at the end of the year. He underwent surgery on his left shoulder last season after playing 14 games with a torn labrum.
