ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Manuel Wright didn't last long with the Buffalo Bills.
A week after being acquired off waivers by Buffalo, the defensive tackle was waived Wednesday to allow the Bills to sign rookie free agent defensive back Duane Coleman.
Wright spent two years with the Miami Dolphins, but played in only three games, and none last year after being placed on the non-football injured reserve list in September.
The Bills already had depth at defensive tackle before, but need to bolster their defensive backfield after losing starter Nate Clements to free agency in March.
Coleman is coming off a strong senior year at Clemson, in which he finished fourth on the team with 81 tackles and added one interception and forced two fumbles.
