Io credo che Dallas Sartz potrebbe diventare a breve il vostro OLB titolare, scalzando Marshall.

Anch'io credo sia stato scelto in quell'ottica, anche se ha parecchio da imparare prima di mettere piede in campo da starter. D'altro canto Marshall è diventato spendibile e non è un segreto, anche se ora visto che non è arrivato Briggs è bene che resti dov'è per creare competizione al ruolo e lasciare comunque un minimo di profondità in esterno dato che gli infortuni non ci hanno risparmiati.

Aggiornamenti di altri free agents:
The Washington Redskins and free agent running back Derrick Blaylock agreed to a deal last night, following his participation in the weekend rookie minicamp, and the team offered a contract to free agent tight end Zach Hilton. A veteran of 51 NFL games and a return specialist as well, Blaylock, 27,worked out this weekend without a contract, but reached a verbal agreement with the team last night, according to his agent Michael Huyghue. Terms of the deal were not available.

Taylor inizia già a fare i capricci:

Washington Redskins Coach Joe Gibbs expressed surprise and dismay yesterday that neither starting free safety Sean Taylor nor starting cornerback Shawn Springs attended the first week of voluntary workouts. Springs said yesterday he plans to join the workouts the first week of June. Taylor's absence was predicted days ago by some of his defensive teammates, who said they did not believe he would be in attendance. Part of the reason, some teammates believe, is that Taylor, 24, has been unhappy with his contract, which expires following the 2008 season. "With Sean Taylor, I've had no contact whatsoever," Gibbs said. "I'm not aware of anything there. That's about all I can say about it. I've had no contact."

Era uno dei motivi per cui la scelta di Landry mi preoccupava molto, soprattutto per potenziali paragoni di livello salariale...
