Mi sembra che McDonald si sia allenato, mentre la cosa preoccupante e' Dashon "figlio d'oro" Goldson, a riposo per un infortunio non meglio precisato alla caviglia
SANTA CLARA -- Safety Dashon Goldson was held out of 49ers practice Wednesday with an ankle injury, the club reported on its official participation report.
Receiver Ted Ginn (knee) and center Jonathan Goodwin (calf) also sat out practice. Meanwhile, tight end Delanie Walker returned to limited work after sustaining a fractured jaw against the Seattle Seahawks on Christmas Eve.
Coach Jim Harbaugh said team doctors would ultimately determine Walker's status for the 49ers' game Sunday against the New York Giants in the NFC Championship Game.

* NY GIANTS +2.5, over 49ers. My comment: A lot of things point to the 49ers–the home crowd, the extra day’s rest (49ers played Saturday), the non-travel (NYGs flying across country), the NYGs’ seven losses, the offensive, defensive and overall momentum surging through the franchise and Bay Area after that New Orleans-game event horizon.
Wow, that’s even more things than I originally thought. I can see why 49ers fans would not quite go with what I’m saying here.
However… I still see the Giants winning this game, albeit not by more than a point or two, which means a late turnover or silly mistake could tilt this game either way, obviously. So could an early turnover or mistake–or one great play, at any moment.
I just think the Giants are built to win these kinds of games, in hostile territory, when the pressure is at its highest. Eli Manning is a big part of my reasoning, no doubt.
And that’s not to say that the 49ers aren’t built for this, also–they are. I think Alex Smith will have a fine game and that 49ers D is serious vs. any team at any time but especially a monster playoff game at home.
But I think you win huge games with great coaching, a great passrush, a steely QB, multiple offensive play-makers and power-hitting throughout the defense.
The Giants have all of those things going in this four-game winning streak and displayed them magnificently in the victory at Lambeau Field on Sunday. You can say Green Bay was just off in that game, and you’re right, but the Giants also made the Packers play shakily.
I think the 49ers have most of the things I mention, except for the part about multiple offensive play-makers. They’ll be hard-pressed to turn the Giants over more than one or two times, and that’s how the 49ers beat the NYGs in November, including that critical Eli Manning INT deep in Giants territory.
I think the Giants will run it a bit with Ahmad Bradshaw (who didn’t play in the November match-up) and I think the 49ers will have a hard time moving the ball when/if the NYGs bracket Vernon Davis and dare the 49ers to throw it to a WR.
I could be wrong. I’m still saying the Giants win, 17-16.

E' tornato ad allenarsi Walker mentre è ancora fuori Ginn; speriamo recuperi perché altrimenti siamo davvero contati come WR e come ritornatori.
