After waiting till near the end of the second round, we were worried about missing out on the opportunity to add another impact forward who has made a fearsome name for himself in Sweden.  Our european scouts have been raving after evaluating his play "He's small (5-11, 156), but extremely skillful. A fast skater, very quick moves, good hands -- he's an exciting player"

Erik: it's a tough spot to be in falling out of the first round, but i know they made the right choice (halifax) drafting me, and i'm going to prove that every other gm is a moron for missing out on a franchise defenseman.

Halifax is reportedly actively shopping their Defensemen in search of some quality Centers, and are listening to offers from anyone looking for help on the blueline...

several of the names that have been discussed are Alex Edler, Ryan Suter, and Marc Staal

Rumour has it that Michael Cammalleri is in the dog house

During last night's preseason game, Cammalleri, who also had an assist, was ejected at 16:52 of the second period for a hard slash to the ankle of Halifax elite prospect Nino Niederreiter. The 18-year-old Swiss forward limped off the ice and did not return.

As a result, the Mooseheads have reportedly stripped any consideration for Cammalleri to wear the A or the C.
