I think you're missing my point frankly, theres no such thing as "your players" or "my players" in free agency. Your players are the ones you have under contract, my players are the ones I have under contract, all the others are called...guess what? FREE AGENTS.

Therefore, theres no such "bidding etiquette" neither, like it or not this is how it is.

If I think a player can help my team and the price is ok I bid on him, you do the same and everyone should be pretty happy, right?  :gazza:

If this is what free agency is going to be like with someone like yourself making last second bids on everyone (and especially picking on my players this off-season), then we're going to have to stop that. I'm going to pitch the idea of a bid count to Mik and I'm sure other GMs (other than yourself) will favour it. No more pussy footing around. Then you have to bid for real and can't don't bid like a little bitch. We will name this new rule the "Claude Giroux Rule."

So, in your unbiased opinion, the game need a new rule because someone had a bid on a player you want? I might have overestimated you, this is 5yo stuff.

Want to know the funny part about this? Not that I mind some trash talk there and then but I dont even know which player are you talking about...I don't even watch who has the current bid, why should I care?
