Se posso permettermi, per me la cosa di non fidarsi l'uno dell'altro è demenziale. Io sarei per il copia-incolla dall'inglese senza farsi paranoie e dietrologie. E se qualcuno va su Google a controllare avrà un punto in classifica in più, ma sarà un "poveretto". Barare in un gioco così è semplicemente grottesco.

Un altro vantaggio è che spesso la traduzione (che non sarà mai fedele al 100%) può cambiare il senso di una frase o di una singola parola. E sono parole, e frasi, che noi siamo abituati a leggere in inglese, senza tradurle. Non sempre è semplice interpretare il tentativo di traduzione di qualcun altro...
