L'ex giocatore dei Nets, Jayson Williams e' stato condannato ad un anno di prigione per guida in stato di ebbrezza. Williams e' andato a sbattere con il suo SUV contro un albero.
L'anno di prigione scattera' non appena finira' di scontare i cinque che gli erano stati gia' inflitti per un'aggressione precedente.

The Jordan brothers are generating national attention for their recent Twitter updates from Las Vegas.

Marcus and Jeff Jordan, sons of NBA legend Michael Jordan and current UCF basketball players, visited Las Vegas during their weekend with UCF junior point guard A.J. Rompza.

Jeff Jordan posted on his Twitter account that the Knights flew to Las Vegas with Michael Jordan for his fantasy basketball camp at the Mirage Resort Casino that cost between $13,500 and $15,000 per person.

Marcus Jordan later posted on his Twitter account about the players' visits to Haze Nightclub and Liquid Pool Lounge at Aria Hotel and Casino City Center.

While Jeff Jordan and Rompza are older than 21, Chicago Tribune archives confirm Marcus Jordan is 20 years old.

Celebrity websites TerezOwens.com and TaintedVegas.com posted updates about the Jordan brothers spending $56,000 in Las Vegas in one day.

Marcus Jordan posted a Ustream video and Jeff Jordan posted a Twitter video from the Liquid Pool Lounge featuring all three basketball players. Jeff Jordan also posted a video shot inside Haze Nightclub, but he was the only Knight who could be identified in the short clip.

Jeff Jordan and Rompza posted on their Twitter accounts that they are back in Orlando and ready for classes that begin at UCF today.

"Starting the semester off good tomorrow," Rompza wrote on his Twitter account Sunday night. "Workouts early cant wait. Its time to put UCF on the map for basketball! I want it."

Da quel che leggo su pianetabasket.it dovrebbe essere proprio la Northwestern University (i Wildcats) della Big Ten. Se non sbaglio l'università che frequentò Dan Peterson.

Esattamente. È stato un bell'evento, hanno vinto i Cats di una quindicina di punti. In definitiva per essere la mia espereinza diretta con il basket USA non sono rimasto abbagliato, comunque impressionante vedere la mole di questi ragazzi rispetto a una dignitosissima squadra di B dilettanti. Il play, Tompshon mi pare, ha giocato molto bene, ottimo tiro dall'arco in transizione.
