Tutte buone notizie, larry. Su Ogletree ho molta fiducia, il fatto è che l' offseason che abbiamo condotto con l' aggiunta di Dez Bryant e la conferma di Roy Williams mi faceva un po' temere per lui, spazio ne ha decisamente poco, deve essere solo un po' paziente e non piantare troppe grane, il fatto che il coaching staff spenda per lui parole di elogio, oltre che sottolinearne le potenzialità, potrebbe essere anche un modo per tenerselo buono. Contento anche che Ball stia facendo bene, anche se pure qui gli elogi potrebbero essere interessati, anche per infondere nel giocatore un po' di fiducia, a me lui non piace e continuo a sperare nell' atogwe day a Giugno, però è uno di quelli che in questi OTAs deve mettersi più in risalto, se lo sta facendo è cosa molto buona e molto giusta.
Crayton, a qualcuno lo daremo tanto ormai i suoi giorni da noi sono finiti, per me resta un ottimo terzo ricevitore, molto solido, il nostro "problema" è che a roster abbiamo 3 "primi" ricevitori, o meglio uno che lo è (Austin) pur non avendone le caratteristiche fisiche, uno che lo sarà, si spera (Dez) e uno che lo vorrebbe essere (Roy Williams), quindi ragionare per WR1 WR2 WR3 non ha molto senso in questo scenario. A me Crayton mancherà, nonostante fosse uno dalla bocca troppo larga fuori dal campo (sia per le lamentele con la franchigia, sia con le sparate nei confronti degli avversari), dentro al campo è un veterano, conosce il nostro gioco, è un ottimo ritornatore e nonostante qualche erroraccio ha delle ottime mani (il problema è che i drop sanguinosi sono arrivati nelle partite più importanti...).
Sulle contropartite non mi esprimo ora, vediamo...avere qualche giocatore non sarebbe male, per me meglio di una scelta (quarto o più verosimilmente quinto giro).

Sensabaugh will make a non-guaranteed $1.815 for 2010. He said earlier this week he could be close to signing the one-year deal, offered by the Cowboys on March 4. Owner Jerry Jones on Tuesday reiterated his desire to keep Sensabaugh with the team long-term. Receiver Miles Austin is now the Cowboys' only unsigned restricted free agent.

Molto bene, preferisco un annuale per Sensabaugh, piuttosto che dargli il contrattone stile Ken Hamlin e poi scaricarlo 2 anni dopo, è un buon giocatore, ma sicuramente è la posizione quella che dobbiamo migliorare maggiormente nei prossimi anni, quindi meglio non incatenarsi oltre modo con contratti a lungo termine. Per Austin invece spero in un accordo pluriennale, ovviamente.

per Sensabough prevedo 2/3 anni a cifre vicine a quello che ha appena firmato; sicuramente non a cifre alla Hamlin
per Austin prevedo la firma del tender prima del TC, come di solito viene fatto con i contratti dei rookies, per poi valutare il prolungamento durante la stagione come è stato fatto per DW94 e Rat.

Atogwe è una FS, o almeno da noi ha sempre giocato come tale. Sensabaugh quindi potrebbe occupare lo spot che più predilige.

Due tagli di contratti pesanti per poi ritrovarci con Ball titolare? Lasciando stare le battute su Jerry Jones che spende e spande e prende tutti in FA, se non dovesse arrivare neanche Atogwe, io non la prenderei bene. Per niente! Al momento io credo che nessuna squadra delle altre 31 abbia tagliato 2 contratti come quelli nostri per scelta economico/tecnica per poi non prendere uno straccio di nessuno.
