esattamente.

Naturalmente discuteremo e se necessario metteremo ai voti solo i casi che reputeremo dubbi. Pensiamo saranno pochi.

Sulla maggior parte fileremo via rapidi.. quindi ci sta che possa sfuggire qualcuno.

Se a quel punto* un GM segnala qualche caso lo rivaluteremo con attenzione, salvo poi decidere sempre sulla base dei criteri postati qui:

Il topic sui ruoli è già disponibile proprio x quello.. immagino che le segnalazioni saranno sui giocatori della propria squadra, ma anche sugli altri sono benvenute.

I've just spent some time reading over the rules/looking at the site

btw being a nucks fan i'm still trying to get over the fact that this team (boston) TRADED away alex freaking burrows 

anyways, i have a few questions, so hopefully one of you can answer them for me:


For the salary cap/player wages, are there any rules in place to prevent people from bidding a ridiculous high amount for a player who just entered the league, or an average player? (ex. think thomas vanek or sean horcoff)

When is the trade deadline?  and also, are there any other times during the season when the roster is frozen (ex all-star weekend/olympics etc)

I know there is a salary cap, but is there a cap floor? (minimum)?  Not to say that a team would ever be at the minimum during the season, but perhaps during the off-season when trades/signings happen etc

Are we able to have offer sheets for RFAs?

I may need some guidance with the entry draft/determining the year of eligibilty etc, but i'm sure at least i'll do better than albi at keeping prospects


and also, when exactly is the decision going to be made in regards to who will get this team?

i would say no at the moment, anyone is free to kill his team throwing a ridiculous amount of money on one player. On the other hand, there is a minimum starting offer for each FA.

trades are blocked from the dealine till the end of our playoffs.. this year the deadline was earlier because of the olympics; the precise date is going to be determined later on..

no salary floor whatsoever.
If a team stays way below the cap till the end of the season, that GM will probably find himself out of the league though.

of course. Read the "-Restricted Free Agents (RFA)" paragraph.

"Any player that has played less than 10 NHL regular season games and born before September 16th 1990 is eligible for the 2008 Entry draft.
The date cut-off will become "born before September 16th 1991" for the 2009 NHL Entry draft (and so on..), whereas the NHL regular season games limit will remain the same."

hence for the upcoming draft born before september 16th 1992.

Rguardo alla questione Matt/bure in commissione...... io aspettavo che si esprimesse qualcun'altro di quelli fuori dalla stessa, prima, ma comunque....

Io dico un chiaro SI ad averli entrambi.
Unica cosa, inviterei uno dei due ad astenersi nella votazione sui doppi ruoli dei giocatori Batteries, per una questione di "delicatezza". Insomma, esprimersi ma non votare.

Come ho già detto a kach, non ci sono soldi in ballo e mi fido. Entrmabi hanno esperienza sia di hockey che di dinasty.
Magari il loro voto vale uno per tutte le cose che riguardano i batteries.

Ma in teoria imho possiamo anche fare che ogni membro della commissione non ha diritto di voto in questioni che riguardano direttamente la sua squadra. Quindi ad es sui doppi ruoli per i NYB non votiamo ne io ne bure (non un voto in due, proprio 0), per quelli di hono non vota kach etc....

non mi ricordo se l'avevo già scritto sul forum o solo in chat con kachlex, cmq..

secondo me se Matt è parte della commissione è meglio x due ragioni:
1- ha contribuito a mettere in piedi la baracca, quindi è giusto che il suo parere possa contare di più di quello di un GM qualunque
2- è un elemento ideale da avere in una commissione: esperto in materia commissioni, competente, ma anche diplomatico e stimato da molti del forum

certo se poi la sua presenza deve generare frequenti polemiche x il fatto che è anche lui di NY allora diventa + un danno che un aiuto.
Per cui, anche se l'idea non è certo quella di votare x favorire la propria squadra, sono favorevole al fatto che ci sia un voto solo x noi due ogni qualvolta si ritiene che ci sia un eccessivo conflitto di interessi con l'oggetto della votazione in commissione.

la scelta dei ruoli e' una cazzata di per se' (nel senso, la questione e' generale e non riferita ai ruoli nello specifico)...in generale le obiezioni mosse erano relative al fatto che su 6 in commissione 2 fossero della stessa squadra. Concordo sul fatto che Matt debba stare in commissione (x meriti e competenze), eventualmente trovo giusto che il voto suo e di bure valga come voto unico (se questo puo' far star tranquilli tutti ed evitare polemiche in futuro).
