Tornando alle cose serie, su Behind the Steel Curtain c'è un bel post su quel che s'è visto di buono nella scorsa stramba stagione.
Ci sono anche alcuni video carucci, di quelli che i tifosi di un certo tipo (beceri) guardano prima di una partita importante per portare il tasso di adrenalina al punto giusto. In particolare c'è un trafiletto sul Pola che dice più o meno "l'anno scorso non l'abbiamo visto per niente, ma in un paio di quarti contro i Titans ha fatto vedere cose che voi umani...".
Vabbè vi metto l'originale perchè suona meglio e i tifosi di quel certo tipo potrebbero gradire di più: But if you go back and watch the first couple quarters of opening day's game against the Titans, Troy honestly looks like a cheat code-enabled superhuman. già, quella volta che ce n'erano 3 in campo....
Se è in campo e fisicamente c'è, non dico così, basta il 70% di così, è la SS più dominante della lega.
Purtroppo le volte che scende in campo mezzo rotto, e le volta che passa in panca sono molte di più, negli ultimi anni, di quelle in cui è sano.
Molto dipende dal fatto che "usa il corpo come se non fosse il suo", ma sicuramente è anche molto injury prone.
Cmq non lo cambierei con nessuno, ha un mix di capacità tecniche, personalità e look che è impareggiabile

Una cosetta che era sfuggita.
Quando B-Mac se ne andò ai Cards firmò un biennale da 5mil $ a stagione.
Riportandolo a casa dopo una sola stagione nel deserto avevamo quindi ereditato un giocatore con un solo anno di contratto...la notizia è che dopo la trade gli abbiamo fatto firmare un'estensione di due anni: insomma se tutto va per il verso giusto McFadden sarà dei nostri per i prossimi tre anni e per un totale di 7.5mil $ - che per uno che con tutta probabilità farà il CB titolare è una cifra assolutamente onesta.
