Di nuovo OT! Illinois poteva sfruttare molto meglio i possessi finali.

Aggiorniamo e cominciamo con le teste di serie.

#1 - Kansas, Syracuse, Kentucky e Duke

Big Dance
Big East (8): Syracuse, Villanova, Georgetown, West Virginia, Pittsburgh, Marquette, Notre Dame, Louisville.
Big XII (7): Kansas, Kansas State, Baylor, Texas A&M, Texas, Oklahoma State, Missouri.
ACC (5): Duke, Maryland, Clemson, FSU, Georgia Tech.
Big Ten (4): Ohio State, Purdue, Wisconsin, Michigan State.
Mountain West (4): New Mexico, BYU, UNLV, San Diego State.
SEC (3): Kentucky, Tennessee, Vanderbilt.
Atlantic-10 (3): Temple, Xavier, Richmond.
PAC-10 (2): California, Washington.
WCC (2): Gonzaga, St.Mary's.
C-USA (2): Houston, UTEP.
WAC (1): Utah State.

Northeast: Robert Morris
Patriot: Lehigh
MAAC: Siena
Horizon: Butler
Missouri Valley: Northern Iowa
Colonial: Old Dominion
Summit: Oakland
Ohio Valley: Murray State
Southern: Wofford
Big Sky: Montana
Sun Belt: North Texas
Atlantic Sun: East Tennessee State
Big South: Withrop
Ivy League Champion: Cornell
America East: Vermont

Finali di oggi/domani:
Big West: Cal Santa Barbara vs Long Beach State
Mid American: Akron vs Ohio
MEAC: Morgan State vs South Carolina State
Southland: Sam Houston State vs Stephen F. Austin
SWAC: Arkansas-Pine Bluff vs Texas Southern

Siamo a 61. Restano 4 posti. On the bubble ci sono:

Appena dentro
Virginia Tech, probabilmente dentro
Wake Forest, secondo me dentro

Se la giocano per due posti
Illinois, che perde in semifinale nella Big Ten (dopo 2OT)
Minnesota, in semifinale nella Big Ten
Florida (rischiano tantissimo)
Missisippi State, in semifinale nella SEC

Appena fuori

New Mexico State che è in finale nella WAC.
The rare occurence of the expected.
