A -5 giorni dal 2010 ho aperto questo topic per gli Awards dell'anno 2009(non delle stagioni 08/09 e 09/10).

Most Valuable Player: Kobe Bryant.
Most Improved Player: Trevor Ariza
Defensive player of the year: Shane Battier.

The best coach of the year: Phil Jackson.
The worst coach of the year: Mike Woodson.

Most Valuable Team: Los Angeles Lakers.
Most Improved Team: Denver Nuggets.

Best pick of the Drafts: Derrick Rose.

Ma come fai a dare il worst coach a uno con quel record ? Avrà i suoi difetti, siamo i primi a dirlo nel topic degli Hawks, ma ha dato un'identità alla squadra e qualche buona regola che funziona. E tra l'altro anche nei suoi difetti storici è migliorato, vedi giochi senza palla per JJ che ha inserito e sta inserendo nel corso degli ultimi 2 anni, facendo stagnare meno il gioco.

Io credo che con quella squadra qualcosa in più di un primo turno o secondo turno PO si può fare.
Le cose dette da te sono giuste, sia chiaro, ma voglio prima vedere in post season come si comporterà la squadra perchè per ora non si è fatto nulla.

Si però ha disputato un 2009 veramente ottimo, raggiungendo il culmine nella serie contro i Celtics. Poi penso che per quegli scelti nel 2009 sia ancora troppo presto per esprimere un giudizio.

Sì ma nel 2009 ha dimostrato ampiamente di essere la pick migliore del Draft.

Jennings anche meglio di Rose?
Io credo che Jennings sia stata una pescata ottima che se dovessimo rifare il Draft finirebbe alla prima senza se e senza ma, ma Rose è qualche gradino sopra di lui. Una scelta che ha trasformato totalmente i Bulls, che ha dimostrato di saper essere decisivo già da subito, oltre ad avere una enorme maturità nonostante la sua età e nonostante la sua esperienza in Nba.

Ma con "Best pick of the draft" intendi il giocatore più forte del draft oppure la scelta con il miglior rapporto numero/qualità del giocatore?

Perchè Rose se lo aspettavano tutti (o quasi) che sarebbe diventato un fenomeno, mentre Jennings no, soprattutto dopo l'esperienza italiana. E vuoi per culo o per bravura, i Bucks hanno fatto la miglior pescata che potevano fare, considerata la scelta abbastanza alta che avevano.

Imho Rose è impareggiabile.
