Bengals beat writer Joe Reedy reports that WR Chris Henry was involved in a major car accident in Charlotte on Wednesday.
The Bengals have confirmed the news. Few details are available, but Reedy says Henry's injuries are "believed to be very serious."

Aspettiamo novità, sperando non sia niente di troppo grave. Certo che Henry negli ultimi anni ne ha fatte e vissute di tutti i colori.

Henry landed on season-ending injured reserve after fracturing his forearm in Week 9. He was in Charlotte, NC to visit his girlfriend. Henry is ticketed for restricted free agency in the offseason, but the crash may put his NFL future in doubt.

Brutta, pessima, notizia. Speriamo in realtà che non sia nulla di grave; è un giocatore che, al di là dei suoi problemi fuori dal campo, mi ha sempre affascinato.

Police say Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chris Henry has suffered serious injuries after falling out of the back of a pickup truck during a domestic dispute with his fiance.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said in a statement that Henry was found in the road Wednesday in Charlotte "apparently suffering life-threatening injuries." Henry was transported to Carolinas Medical Center, where his condition was not immediately known.

Police say Henry jumped into the bed of the pickup truck as his unidentified fiance was driving away from a home. The domestic dispute continued and Henry eventually fell out of the truck.

Mi spiace tanto per Chris, talento mai sbocciato del tutto (avrei voluto vederlo con un'altra maglia, altri compagni di squadra a guidarlo, etc etc)...in bocca al lupo.
