JA Happ: 166 IP, 145 ERA+, 2.13 K/BB, -39 OPS+ (con la mazza)
Randy Wells: 165.1 IP, 147 ERA+, 2.26 K/BB, 23 OPS+

Happ in stagione ha avuto 12 partite da rilievo in cui ha abbassato la sua ERA (2.49 in quelle partite).

Happ è arrivato secondo ed è l'unico giocatore (in entrambe le leghe) ad aver ricevuto voti in ogni scheda. Wells è stato citato su una sola scheda.

Grande Greinke, strameritatissimo premio dopo una stagione incredibile in una delle squadre peggiori dell'AL.

Sul podio anche Felix Hernandez e Justin Verlander. Anni di nascita rispettivamente 1983, 1986 e 1983.
Se si aggiunge anche Jon Lester (84) autore di un'altrettanto ottima stagione, abbiamo un poker di pitcher in grado di dominare per un bel po' di anni.

Scioscia e Tracy managers dell'anno

Congrats to Mike Scioscia of the Angels and Jim Tracy of the Rockies, both of whom were named Manager of the Year in their respective leagues this afternoon. Scioscia led the Halos to their third consecutive division title, while Tracy took over an 18-28 Rockies club in late May and guided them to a 74-42 finish.

EDIT: non mi ero accorto che Renè mi aveva preceduto, tra l'altro ho sbagliato topic..
