la linea ha cominciato male e poi si è ripresa...il punto è che grant deve correre con più cattiveria e cercare di cambiare direzione ogni tanto e poi non capisco perchè sono 2 partite che cerchiamo con ostinazione il big play in attacco...la difesa in teoria non può che migliorare ma non può restare in cmapo una vita e mezza

Molto giusto!
Per far rifiatare la difesa è però fondamentale un buon gioco di corse, che noi non abbiamo.
Siamo però sicuri di puntare tutti quesi anni su Grant? Non ritenete, come me, che sia soppravvalutato e inadatto a fare il rb titolare nella nfl?

Dunque qualche miglioramento è arrivato, sebbene l'avversario non era dei più ostici ... comunque la linea ha concesso meno ed in prospettiva dovrebbe continuare a migliorare; si parla di un possibile utilizzo di Clifton già da lunedi sera, e non mi dispiacerebbe affatto perchè da quelle parti gira uno chiamato Jared Allen e la cosa non mi piace per niente, affatto. Intanto ci sono movimenti nella practice squad che riguardano la linea, niente di così clamoroso, ma dimostra la grande attenzione che c'è su questo problema. Barbre è andato un pò meglio domenica, ma contro i cornuti la storia sarà diversa.
Il running game non funziona ancora bene: continuiamo ad avere troppi 2nd and long e troppi terzi down da convertire, con scarso successo fino adesso (12/36): analizzando il dato e scomponendolo abbiamo un 10/13 quando siamo terzo e sette (o meno) yard il che significa che la produzione sul primo e sul secondo down diventa cruciale per noi, considerando che lunedi si gioca in un dome e sui terzi down ci sarà da soffrire molto e sentire poco. Bisogna avere meno passaggi droppati e più assistenza della linea sulle corse (@nick: Grant ancora non mi ha convinto, mai, però non penso che sia un brocco da UFL o CFL, forse deve ancora del tutto esplodere, diciamo che gli diamo tempo quest'anno; certo, se avesse davanti la linea dei Giants forse sarebbe tutto diverso .... vedi Ward cosa -non- sta facendo a Tampa ....)
Il settore receiver mi ha soddisfatto domenica, potrebbe essere l'arma in più contro i cornuti, Driver è in gran forma e beneficia delle coperture che riceve Jennings, ma visto che sta giocando da star si sta attirando qualche attenzione in più ed ecco che si spiegano i big plays di Greg); qualcosa in più mi attenderei dai TE, e forse domenica nella terra di nessuno potrebbero avere qualche ricezione in più, loro rushano parecchio quindi qulche traccia interna dei TE e qualche scrren potrebbero tornare più che utili.
Della difesa parliamo domani, voglio vedermi prima la partita dei cornuti contro i 49ers.

Verissimo che per un rb la linea fa la differenza e Grant non può beneficiare di un aiuto eecelso, ma tante volte sembra quasi gli manchi esplosività e le sue letture sono spesso francamente assurde, non vede autostrade e va a infilarsi in imbuti: a tal proposito spesso le lavagne dei commentatori sono impietose.

per me se il running game non va non si può cmq cercare sempre il big play come in queste prime 3 partite...il nostro forte sono state sempre le yards after catch...quindi dov'è un po' di sano west coast offence con piccoli guadagni che macinano tempo e fanno rifiatare la difesa...
speriamo che nelle prime giornate ci si sia un po' nascosti per lunedì
Lunedi potrebbe essere la partita di Finley, secondo me. cmq è fondamentale che Raji sia in salute perchè un NT dominante è findispensabile per questa squadra. io continuo a sentirmi poco ottimista per questa gara a differenza delle altre tre precedenti, ma anche in caso di sconfitta non si deve disperare e soprattutto credo che in casa nostra le cose potrebbero essere molto diverse, e se uscissimo con una vittoria e una sconfitta dal doppio confronto di certo non mi lamenterei.
