Ma dei 'NON' festeggiamenti per la 50esima stagione in NFL dei Cowboys ne vogliamo parlare?
Pare che tutte le altre squadre della AFL nate nel 1960 stiano tutte celebrando la loro '50th season' con iniziative, pubblicizzando sul loro sito l'evento e con tanto di patch 'celebrative' (vedere per es, che so i Chargers, i Bills, i Broncos e così via...).
E noi? Nessuna attività degna di nota riguardo l'evento...ed è strano sapendo come ci tengono in America a queste cose. D'altra parte anche a livello di Marketing sono molto appetibili ed è strano che JJ non abbia colto la palla al balzo.
In ogni caso è singolare per non dire ingiusto vedere come tutti i team AFL creati quell'anno stiano celebrando mentre i Cowboys no.
Le spiegazioni ventilate sembrano essere:
1. La lega ha preferito puntare sui festeggiamenti particolari per la AFL (mi sembra una stronzata)
2. I Cowboys (JJ...) hanno preferito concentrare le attenzioni e il MK tutto sugli aspetti legati al nuovo stadio e rinviano i festeggiamenti all'anno prossimo per il 50esimo compleanno (lasciando quindi perdere la ricorrenza della 50esima stagione)

mi sembra molto più plausibile la seconda motivazione che pare anche sia suffragata da risposte ufficiali fornite dall'ufficio PR dei 'Boyz. I media non ne stanno parlando ma nei forum americani hanno un bel discutere...VOGLIAMO FESTEGGIARE ANCHE NOOIII

Sul nostro allenatore degli special teams....bah...io non ho visto sti gran miglioramenti che ci si poteva aspettare in queste fasi di gioco

beh, considerando che DeCa sta lavorando da poco e con moltissimi rookie
ed elementi che non hanno molto da dire...
i punti fermi sono sicuramente McB1, Buehler(che sta calciando molto in end zone)
e anche (vista la partita con i 49ers) N.Folk
I punt returner hanno fatto vedere delle buone cose
I kick returner sicuramente nella media
In fase di bloccaggi NON ho visto gravi errori
Errori da rookie ci sono stati ma "fà parte del gioco"
....del resto, come avevamo già detto precedentemente, è solo preseason!!!

on waivers from the Bengals.
White (6-1, 205) was a fourth-round pick in 2007 out of TCU. He
started 10 games last season before suffering a torn ACL.
You could consider this a White-for-Roy Williams trade.
In other safety news, Cowboys fifth- rounder DeAngelo Smith was
claimed by the Browns.

Abbiamo dei reparti, in primis WR e CB, ma anche DT, dove c' è da mettersi le mani sui capelli, per chi ce li ha...e strapparli per finire come quelli che non ce li hanno.

PS. Su Stanback, progetto fallito, anche colpa dei troppi infortuni del ragazzo che comunque ha già trovato sistemazione ala PS dei Pats, dove però lo proveranno come QB

Dallas led the NFL in fewest sacks allowed. Minnesota and Arizona both were second with four allowed.

Cowboys FB Deon Anderson is back at practice for the first time since the San Antonio training camp. The plan all along was for Anderson to return for the opener from his knee injury.
September 7 1:47 ET In preparation for their game in Tampa, Cowboys coach Wade Phillips has his offense practicing in blue jerseys that they will wear sunday.

Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said WR Miles Austin was fine on Friday but it looks like he is not. Austin is missing practice today with a hamstring problem.

son daccordo con te ma, dopo la prima di campionato, quando i contratti NON sono garantiti, si troverà qualche CB(meglio d'esperienza)
