Livan Hernandez won his eighth straight start against the Nationals, beating them 6-2 in Washington. That's the third-longest current streak of consecutive starts won by an active pitcher against a particular team. The two longer streaks are by Mike Hampton versus the Pirates (10 in a row) and Randy Johnson against the Cubs (9 straight).

Le date precise ancora non sono stabilite, comunque la RS finisce il 4 ottobre e i playoffs iniziano dopo due-tre giorni.
