  02 Escobar, Alcides  AAA  SS 22 R R
  Alcides will be familiarizing himself with second base, and as Reid Nichols noted, that should take all of about one game for the athletic whiz.
  03 Lawrie, Brett  A  2B 19 R R
  Nothing personal, Appleton fans, but Brett recently indicated he plans on making his TimberRattler stay relatively brief. The Brewers may have other plans for the first-year stud pro.
  04 Jeffress, Jeremy  A+  SP 21 R R
  Sent to Brevard for what has been indicated is not a "short-term" stay. Jeremy will be 22 in September, which simply means he's not a Kershaw, a Porcello, or even a Neugebauer. There's reason to be concerned, but don't panic, folks.
  05 Salome, Angel   AAA  C 22 R R
  There have been no reports about defensive deficiencies with Angel at AAA, but watching Jason Kendall guide this big league staff really gives one an appreciation of the all-encompassing responsibilities facing Angel down the road.
  06 Lucroy, Jonathan  AA  C 22 R R
  Jonathan's 20 RBI leads the veteran Stars squad, and while we'd like to see more pop, Lucroy's on target for a fine AA season. 
  07 Cain, Lorenzo  AA  OF 23 R R
  Injured on an outfield dive but avoiding major knee surgery, Lorenzo's first real contributions in Milwaukee have probably been pushed back (pushed ahead?) to 2011 rather than 2010.
  08 Green, Taylor  AA  3B 22 L R
  A very welcome return for the kid most commonly referred to as a "baseball player". Very early results indicate that the wrist injury won't effect his extra-base count.
  09 Gindl, Caleb   A+  OF 20 L L
  Caleb's pace has slowed, but he's still at .855 for an OPS. It can't be fun for any of the Brevard kids right now when you play two games a week amid the FSL raindrops.

  Honest, it's just insane how dominant this 6'4", 230 lb. lefty with ridiculous stuff can be. As long as he's on the mound and not the trainer's room, the sky is the limit.
