According to agent Drew Rosenhaus' Twitter Account, free agent Darius Walker is trying out for the Broncos on Wednesday.
Walker wasn't tendered a contract from the Texans in exclusive rights free agency, making him an unrestricted free agent. Just taking a look down Denver's tailback depth chart, it's clear this wouldn't be a great landing spot.

Broncos signed RB Darius Walker to a two-year contract.
Walker was a long shot for fantasy value anyway, but Denver is an especially poor fit with three veterans, a first-round pick, and a fullback ahead of him in the competition for carries. He's a long shot to make the team out of training camp.

I think the plan is starting to show itself. For a long time, there hasn't been change here, and then all of a sudden there is a lot of change. And then people felt like they weren't addressing the things that need attention — the defense. They were tinkering with the offense, and ultimately we lost our quarterback, who was a stud. I have mixed feelings on that.

But I like the fact that they're going after character players, guys that love football. That excites me.

I'm very fond of the way they do things in New England. That's why I went there, and I wouldn't have played anywhere else. I went there for the opportunity to play for that organization, and I had an opportunity to be around Josh McDaniels and was thoroughly impressed.

Believe me, you don't get to that position in that organization without the respect of a guy that's hard to earn respect of, and that's Bill Belichick. I think (McDaniels) is going to do some outstanding things.

Brian Dawkins is one of my good friends who I've had as much respect for as anyone, and getting him makes me really happy. I think that defense has been missing (leadership). The best teams have multiple leaders, and you've lost Al Wilson and the void of myself, and they needed someone to come in and help guys like Champ (Bailey) and D.J. (Williams). I think (Dawkins) is one of the best that this league has seen and I'm excited to watch him play.

Non vedo l'ora di rivedere una safety in maglia blu-arancio degna di questo nome capace di stendere ed intimidire l'avversario come si deve. Ha ragione il buon 47, Dawkins è davvero un "duro", deve essere un punto fermo di questa difesa e deve far sentire la sua leadership sul campo.

Come mai Alvi? Ha messo su grandi numeri, aveva battuto tutti i record per un WR undrafted, si è portato a casa due anelli da protagonista e se non erro è andato almeno un paio di volte al pro-bowl.

perchè nel ruolo a statistiche ce ne sono stati tanti contemporaneamente e dopo di lui (soprattutto dopo) che stanno smontando i suoi numeri. Il fatto che abbia giocato a denver poi sembra un handicap quando si arriva in sede di ballottaggio.
Ovvio per me, per quello che ha dato al gioco per la sua abnegazione e per il suo esempio dovrebbe essere eletto, ma rod mi sa di uno di quei nomi che stanno sempre lì lì e non vengono chiamati. Questo è il mio timore, poi sempre pronto a rimangiarmela, con enorme piacere, ma il dubbio ce l'ho.
