Dal quarto giro in poi si può dire che abbiamo fatto il pieno sulle linee, prendendo altri due DT e un'altra guardia comunque molto versatile. Più il Long Snapper che credo ci serviva, se batte Hodel lo firmi a 4 anni con uno stipendio ridicolo!Tasco wrote: draftiamo un LS con la #198...

Comunque a parte gli scherzi dovrebbe essere un QB/WR alla Pat White, un progetto da sviluppare anche per la Wildcat. Credo sia difficile che riuscirà a fare il roster, a meno che non eccella negli special team.

Edelman passed for 1,820 yards and 20 touchdowns last season. He ran for 1,370 yards and 13 more scores. He rushed for 100 yards in each of his last seven games. But Edelman (5-10) was considered too short to play quarterback in the NFL, so he and his 4.52 speed weren't invited to the combine. That's OK, the Patriots like non-combine players.

He transferred to Kent State in the spring of 2006 where he was named the starter before the season opened. That year he started every game, except the one against Virginia Tech (injury), passing for 1,859 yards with 10 TD. Edelman was named to the Second Team All MAC squad and was also named the league's Offensive Player of the Year. Beginning his 2007 with a bang, his season was ended with a broken arm on October 20th against Bolling Green. Edelman had passed for 1,318 yards on 98-189 completions (52%)and a 7-9 TD-INT ratio before being knocked out by the injury.
Edelman is a bright QB with a somewhat powerful arm. He throws a very catchable ball at the mid-to-intermediate areas. Elusive, Edelman moves well in the pocket and also boasts a good command of the huddle. He is a natural leader. He is also short and will have trouble seeing the whole field. He is just not a great athlete and his accuracy has been spotty at best. Watch out because he is injury prone as well.
On paper, Edelman has no business being selected in the NFL Draft. Nevertheless, he has the intangibles to make a run at the seventh round. With a good season (and even a great workout day) he could hear his name called in the later stages of the Draft. Even if he is not drafted, Edelman surely will be viewed as a good free agent candidate; another "camp arm" if you wish.

Secondo me tra tutti i giocatori scelti scelti, McKenzie è quello che probabilmente avrà più spazio sin da subito. E' un giocatore forte contro corse, che nella nostra difesa dovrebbe ricoprire il ruolo di SILB al fianco di Mayo. Non credo riuscirà a partire starter dal giorno 1 (come ha fatto Mayo), ma pian piano potrebbe riuscire a superare Bruschi.Doc. mentre sulle nostre prime scelte a parte Tate ,mi sembrano giocatori pronti per essere pronti per essere formati dal nostro BB e suo staff.
