penso che fra i 3 soltanto Shaughnessy giocherà da defensive end. Norris dovrebbe giocare da outside linebacker, così come Sulak (a meno che non metta su massa muscolare).
Brandon Myers è più che altro un run blocker.
Posso capire fino a un certo punto la scelta di non agire sulla linea offensiva, su cui si è intervenuti durante la free agency (Barnes, Satele, Pears, Johnson). Ma ignorare l'enorme esigenza di mettere mano al reparto defensive tackles o è da incapaci o da masochisti.
Ora vediamo chi arriverà come undrafted free agent.

firmato il primo undrafted free agent, proprio un defensive tackle: Desmond Bryant (da Harvard). Alcuni scouts lo pronosticavano scelto al quinto-sesto giro.

la firma di Frantz Joseph è di gran lunga la mossa che più mi è piaciuta del nostro draft, il ragazzo è una belva !

firmato anche il wide receiver Shawn Bayes (Kent State), il classico nanetto da special teams

You get the point. The pick of Mitchell, and where he was picked, was

In realtà ho letto che i Raiders l'hanno scelto a quel punto del secondo giro perchè altrimenti l'avrebbero fatto i Bears qualche scelta dopo.

Comunque sia i giudizi finali sul draft si faranno alla fine della prossima stagione; i commenti di questi giorni sono frutto di gerarchie universitarie che vengono puntualmente smentite durante il campionato NFL.

ora come ora darei una F- al nostro draft, e giusto perchè non esiste la G.
Poi sarò felicissimo di essere smentito dai fatti.
La migliore mossa è l'arrivo di Frantz Joseph dal calderone degli undrafted, non mi stupirei di vederlo middle linebacker titolare con Kirk Morrison spostato sullo strong side già dalla week 1 della stagione 2009.

Ancora no...stanno provando a ricavarci qualcosa: se non riescono a metter giù una trade, nel giro di qualche giorno arriverà il taglio.
