Santana ha lanciato un bel pò di balls. Comunque non dovrebbero essere 85 i lanci, bensì 53.

Texas mette a segno i primi punti della giornata.

Jarrod Saltalamacchia, con Blalock in terza e Byrd in seconda, batte un singolo sull'esterno destro che manda a casa i due runners. 2-0 e Lee in difficoltà, abbastanza presto e anche abbastanza sorprendentemente.

Ora doppio di Andrus e di nuovo 2 RISP per i Rangers.

Lee alla fine mette out Hamilton, che lascia due corridori sulle basi. Comunque il partente degli Indians ne esce abbastanza malconcio, 4 punti subiti con 5 valide concesse e 1 BB.
