E' molto probabile più che altro per il fatto che il gamencenter NHL è solo da quest'anno fatto in flash e quindi credo che la Adobe non sviluppi due progetti diversi visto che il player per la NHL funziona benissimo. Inoltre con questo accordo MLB e NHL per un'unico abbonamento direi che sia anche il segnale di collaborazione tra le due leghe per fornire un servizio unico e quindi un player unico. Cambierà l'interfaccia grafica ma per il software credo proprio sarà lo stesso
PS: dal sito NHL mai riuscito a scaricare un video che fosse uno

Così se ti va non è che potresti dire come hai fatto che magari così oltre che vedermi gli highlights magari si trova pure il metedo per scaricare le partite su MLB.tv qualora dovesse basarsi sullo stesso player.

Io ieri sera ho provato e il demo si vede perfettamente. Ovviamente non si potrà vedere in HD (non si può installare nexdef) e non ci sarà qualche funzione esclusiva di flash 10 (la PS3 ha solo il 9) però la partita si dovrebbe vedere senza problemi.
Ormai esistono PC desktop grandi come un quaderno si attaccano direttamente dietro alla tv e ti si apre un mondo.
Non appena avrò la fortuna di farmi una casa il salotto sarà ottimizzato per mlb.tv, tanto poi finirò su un vecchio portatile in uno stanzino perchè questo sport in fondo è sempre e solo profondo baseball!

ok :lol2: anche se non e' chissa cosa... io uso il programma Replay Media Catcher v.3.01. apro il filmato che mi interessa e il programma, precedentemente attivato e pronto per il recording, mi risucchia il filmato in .flv che poi rivedo con vlc o altro (si puo' fare anche con piu' filmati contemporaneamente). Tutto qua. Ovviamente il programma e' shareware ma sellando un quadrupede...

Replay Media Catcher can download media from Flash Video, Windows Media and Wowza servers, including any site that uses the HTTP, MMS, RTSP, and RTMP protocols. Replay Media Catcher does not support Adobe Secure RTMP Measures
1. Will the full-screen problem be resolved?
2. Will it be possible to access and watch archived/condensed games without the fear of seeing something indicating the outcome of the game?
3. How easy will it be to fast-forward through an archived game and find the place you want?
4. Is the new player going to be available for spring training/WBC games? I ask this because I think it would be helpful to test it during March to iron out wrinkles before opening day.
1) The full screen functionality has been significantly improved
2) Yes, scores and highlights will be hidden when launching an Archived game, and Archives can be access within the player, so you will not need to navigate through the site.
3) I have not seen how it fast forwards and rewinds during archives so I cannot say for certain, but I know the developers were aware of the difficulty users had doing this in Silverlight so I am sure they have worked on improving this.
4) We hope to have the new player available for a few games during either the WBC or Spring Training, but I am not sure if this will happen.
5) Having Silverlight and/or NexDef installed will not affect the new player which requires the installation of Flash Player (something 98% of computers already have installed). There will be a new version of NexDef launched with the player so this will need to be installed as well if you would like to take advantage of its functionality.

For example, if a game starts at 7:05pm but I'm gone til 7:30pm and I boot up the PC then -- is there an option to start the game at the beginning and fast forward as needed? Or will it start when I log in, missing the parts of the game when I wasn't online?
A: If you enter the game after it has started you will be able to click on a different half of an inning to watch it. So for instance if you enter a game in the 5th inning, you won't be able to rewind all the way back, but you can click on the Top of the First, Bottom of the Third, whenever you'd like, to watch the parts of the game that you have missed.

1) Mac users will only need Adobe Flash Player and NexDef. Flip4Mac will be required for Archives of games prior to the 2009 season.
2) Full screen will be much better than it was in Silverlight. It will go into Full Screen in whatever ratio it is being broadcast in. So if the game is shot in widescreen you will see a 16:9 ratio in full screen on your display. However, just like with DVDs, if you have a 4:3 display and are viewing something in widescreen you will see the bars above and below the image.
