Steelers will wear white jerseys in Super Bowl

The Steelers will wear their white game jerseys as the visiting team in the Super Bowl, and that color has been significant to them over the years.

They wore white in just two of their previous six Super Bowls -- their first when they beat the Minnesota Vikings in Super Bowl IX in New Orleans and in their most recent, a victory over the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XL in Detroit.

They normally wear their white jerseys on the road because the home team has first choice, but coach Bill Cowher chose white for Super Bowl XL even though they were the home team for that game. He did so because they wore their white jerseys in their three playoff victories that led to the Super Bowl, all on the road.

The Arizona Cardinals chose first and will wear their red home jerseys for the game in Tampa, Fla.

A guardarlo sembra ancora un ragazzino, ma DLB ha 71 anni, cinquanta dei quali passati su un campo da football. Se la storia è vera i suoi ragazzi, che lo adorano, tenderebbero a giocarla anche per lui...

Al 99.9% non si va con un esterno.
Il primo nome che mi viene in mente è Mitchell, l'allenatore della DLine, con noi da 15 anni e che Tomlin ha promosso Ass. Head Coach. Anche Butler, che allena i LB, andrebbe bene. Bruce è difficile da segare dopo essere arrivati fin qui, anche se si fa fatica a capire esattamente quali siano i suoi meriti. E dubito ci sia qualcuno lì fuori disposto ad affidargli un posto da allenatore capo...per cui, sì, mi sa che dobbiamo tenercelo.

Secondo me sarebbe una perdita meno "devastante" di quello che ad un primo impatto possa sembrare. LeBeau è un guru della difesa, probabilmente nessuno nella Lega ha le sue conoscenze e la sua esperienza a livello di 3-4 e schemi difensivi. Il fatto è che ha lavorato con gli Steelers per più di 10 anni (seppur in due "stint" diversi) in cui tutti i suoi assistenti (tra cui Mitchell, citato da Whata) hanno potuto imparare ed apprendere da lui. Io credo che un nuovo LeBeau non ci sarà mai, ma un "piccolo LeBeau" che sappia portare avanti le sue idee, i suoi schemi e il suo modo di allenare lo si possa trovare solo e soltanto sulla nostra sideline. Che sia Mitchell, o Butler o chiunque altro sarà poi Tomlin a dircelo.

Detto questo se rimanesse ancora per qualche stagione sarebbe comunque meglio per tutti.  :D
