Con i Falcons del 2007 non deve essere stato facile faqre qualcosa di buono, ma qualcuno sa com'e' andato nel 2003 con i Redskins? Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaave che ci dici?

Diciamo che i risultati migliori li ha avuti come coach dei Rb's, ha fatto esplodere Stephen Davis. Nel 2003 c'era Spurrier, quindi suppongo fosse un offensive coordinator-fantoccio.

intervistato a tal proposito il nuovo coach dei 49ers ha dichiarato: "sono stufo di questi coach presuntosi che pensano di aver inventato il football. da queste parti si vogliono facce nuove, gente disposta a lavorar sodo e che non abbia problemi a tirarsi giù i pantaloni in spogliatoio"...

The 49ers are being secretive about their offensive plans, but it’s not hard to connect the dots in this case.

The 49ers are interviewing former Falcons head coach Dan Reeves today for their offensive coordinator vacancy. Reeves was Atlanta’s head coach in 2001, when the team traded for the No. 1 overall draft pick to use on QB Michael Vick.

One day earlier, the 49ers interviewed Ravens quarterbacks coach Hue Jackson, who used to coach Vick in Atlanta. And San Francisco also has expressed some interest in former Falcons wide receivers coach Mike Johnson, who coached quarterbacks in Baltimore and also knows Vick well.

So, some of the candidates the 49ers have begun to focus on all have connections to Vick, who could be back in the NFL as early as this summer after being released from federal prison.

No team has a greater need for a quarterback than the 49ers, but this isn’t to say they will pursue him. But the coaches they’re pursuing now all know and have worked with Vick.

And if that’s not enough of a conspiracy theory, then consider this: On Thursday, the 49ers signed former Falcons CB Jimmy Williams, Vick’s college teammate who lives in Hampton, Va., the next town over from where Vick has a house.

Might all just be coincidence. But might not.

Vabbè, quella di Vick penso (spero...) proprio sia sola una bufala...
Intanto abbiamo firmato il CB  Jimmy Williams, scelta al secondo giro del draft 2006 dai Falcons che lo hanno tagliato all'inizio di questa stagione dopo una sospensione per possesso di marijuana ed il WR/ ritornatore Micheal Spurlock provenienye dai Buccaneers.

Jimmy Williams mi ricordo che era molto considerato ai tempi di quel draft; comunque sono scommesse a basso rischio, se vanno bene hai fatto un affare altrimenti ci hai rimesso davvero poco.

With free agency sneaking up upon us, sources have informed ProFootballCentral.com that the San Francisco 49ers will be making a “huge push” to sign TJ Houshmandzadeh. Houshmandzadeh, is looking for a deal similiar to what the Bills paid Lee Evans which was a four-year, $37.25-million deal loaded with incentives. The Bengals are also still in the mix to resign the eight year veteran but this same source believes that Houshmanzadeh has “exhausted” his stay there and will like a fresh start.  The Seahawks are also reportedly interested but reportedly are also looking at Amani Toomer and Sam Hurd which they can get at a bargain this offseason.

Anche a me non dispiace, anche se sono d'accordo che è un mezzo salasso. Rimane sempre aperto il problema di quello che sta dall'altra parte del passaggio, ma diamo tempo al tempo
