After getting back the results of an MRI, Titans coach Jeff Fisher said Monday that Albert Haynesworth has a sprained MCL. He's expected to miss the final two games of the season.

Meglio del previsto, i legamenti non sono interessati. Salterà le ultime due partite (così come Vanden Bosch) ma dovrebbe tornare al 100% per i Playoffs.

Le parole di Fisher fanno ben sperare, ma recuperare un giocatore infortunatosi al ginocchio al 100 % in 25 gg. mi sa veramente dura, anche se il ns coach dice che in 2 settimane si recupera

We were all very concerned about Albert’s condition after the game. He has an MCL sprain and just an MCL sprain. That oftentimes is 10 days to two weeks so there’s no doubt in our mind that he’ll be back

...sicuramente il fatto di poterlo recuperare e' una bella spinta psicologica positiva per la squadra

dalle 32 + una ventina facciamo che era comodo dalle 50 Yards, magari non si fidava del suo Kicker da quella distanza.

Sarebbero stato 49 a rispettare lo standard e se non ti fidi di Bironas (che per altro aveva messo tra i pali un 51) allora non ti fidi dei kicker. :D

Era solo una risposta a Teo che diceva che era un FG "facile", ne ho visti sbagliare da più vicino, che ne dici?
(uno proprio nella stessa partita da noi) Poi che anch'io non avrei giocato un 4 e 3 siamo d'accordo, ma pensare che un FG da 50 yards sia "automatico", sopratutto in quelle condizioni di clima, mi sembra un po ottimistico, magari come dice qualcuno ha provato una situation da PO, non lo so.

Sì, ma di solito quando hai un cannone come Bironas lo usi visto che lo hai sfruttato anche da più lontano. Se è vero che il FG avrebbe girato la gara doveva puntare su quello.

Il vostro Albertone Haynesworth rimane al centro delle attenzioni in questi giorni. Con la chiamata al Pro Bowl, grazie ad una clausola inserita nel suo contratto, può adesso diventare un UFA. I Titans hanno comunque l'esclusiva di trattare con lui sino al 27 febbraio, ma se entro quella data non dovesse aver rifirmato potreste dovergli dire addio.

When Haynesworth was named to the Pro Bowl on Tuesday, it triggered a clause in his contract guaranteeing he can become an unrestricted free agent after this season.

The Titans had agreed to four conditions under which they would agree not to place the franchise player tag Haynesworth. A second straight Pro Bowl appearance was one of those four triggers.

That doesn't mean Haynesworth is automatically out the door: The Titans still have exclusive negotiating rights with him until Feb. 27. But he's free to talk to other teams after that date.

Si è operato KVB per risolvere il problema muscolare all'addome e all'inguine, dice che è molto fiducioso di poter rientrare per il Divisional Playoffs.

Kyle Vanden Bosch underwent surgery two days ago in Philadelphia to repair the muscle around his abdomen and groin areas, and says he is on track to return in time for the AFC Divisional Playoffs, which the Titans will host the weekend of Jan. 10-11. "I had it done Tuesday morning. It was good," Vanden Bosch said. "Basically because of the original injury I had, an additional injury was caused by compensation because of my original groin injury. So there was just some damage in there that needed to be fixed surgically." The best news is that he should be ready when the Titans host their first playoff game. "I have enough time that I should be close to 100 percent in four weeks," said KVB. "Fortunately, we have the first-round bye and I have that extra week to recover from this."

a un certo punto eravamo 3&20 e ci siamo beccati una ricezione da quasi 20 e il quarto down convertito per TD...game set and match...complimenti a Jeff Fisher e a Collins che ho sottovalutato parecchio

In effetti mi è piaciuta poco quella scena con ciccio che saltava sul vessillo di Pitts, cmq significa che erano caricati a 1000.
Non la solita pressione sul QB ma senza quei due là in mezzo non si poteva pretendere di più (maiuscola prova di Jason Jones), grande equilibrio in attacco con Collins che ha saputo distribuire magistralmente il gioco.
Alla vigilia sinceramente l'avevo messa persa non mi aspettavo una partita di questo spessore

Hai ragione, è un gesto che ha irritato anche me.

Comunque abbiamo giocato bene, Collins ha giocato bene, la DL ha giocato bene, e quest'ultima è stata la chiave dell'incontro: il buon Big Ben ha visto i sorci verdi e le corse non hanno funzionato.

Pure Cowher s'è irritato e l'ha fatto sapere a tutti nel CBS Postgame Show.

È stato un brutto gesto, forse evitabile ma comprensibile nell'euforia della partita. A me sinceramente frega poco di queste cose (sò raaagazzi), occhio però perchè c'è il "Curse of Myron" che ha già colpito i Colts nel 2005, che fecero una cosa simile nella W in RS per poi venire sculacciati qualche mese dopo quando contava di più. Chissà...
