Hey wasup everybody - We just got back from Barcelona, Spain, where we had a huge Euro League game. It was a great trip overall. The food and city are amazing. We got to Spain around 7pm Wed night. As soon as we checked into the hotel we had a team meeting and team dinner. I then bounced to do a few media requests with Ricky Rubio. I was able to spend a few hours with Ricky, he was really cool, he speaks English very well.  Just like me he has a ton of energy and loves playing the game of basketball. He showed up to the media blitz with his Mom and Dad, he has really nice parents. We talked for a few minutes. It was funny because I was signing my Jersey for someone and Ricky says to me “You are left handed”. It was funny because he was already sizing me up for the game. What I noticed is that Ricky also writes with his left hand but plays the game right handed, he must have a pretty good left? All and all I was really happy to meet Ricky and look forward to being his friend for many years to come.

Now to what everyone wants to hear about, the game and the matchup with Ricky. Unfortunately Ricky only played about 8mins cause he’s still kind of hurt from a wrist injury he suffered in the Gold Medal game vs. Team USA, but in just 8mins he showed me a lot. I have a ton of respect for the dude. He’s real mature out there on the court, he has a great feel for the game. He passes the ball like crazy, reminds me of Steve Nash a little bit. Put it like this if he were in the class of 09 in high school basketball he would be the #1 player hands down. No question about it. I can only hope that when Ricky and I one day get to the NBA we can be like Chris Paul and Deron Williams, as our careers take off together like CP3 & D Will’s did. Despite what the critics say that he can’t shoot Ricky is going to be going a Great NBA player someday…he brings a complete game to the table................

Wassup Everybody?!? Just wanted to write to y’all to clear up a few things. I’ve been seeing some negative talk about some of the things I’ve written on my blog. My blog is not to put anyone on blast or anything like that. The things I say are to show kids who are thinking about coming over here how real it is, and I’m just going to keep it 100% real. Because I don’t want anyone coming over here thinking it’s easy. The whole reason I’m doing the blog is because I made a decision that is basically unprecedented. I’m not trying to make myself sound better than anyone else…I’m just trying to tell people what it’s like. So that’s why I talk about the ups and the downs. It’s not a game once you become a Pro, it’s real life. To be great, you gotta put in the time and be responsible off the court.....

Buona l'idea di avere un blog personale anche perchè la sua scelta potrebbe "aprire" una nuova epoca.......Sinceramente ancora non ho visto una sua partita qui a Roma (colpa della pigrizia e di una pioggia che ti fa passare qualsiasi voglia di uscire) però sarei curioso di vederlo all'opera

Aldilà degli errori tecnici e di lettura,che data la gioventù ci stanno.. una cosa che ho notato è che ha le mani di pasta frolla. Potrebbe essere una questione di attenzione, ma secondo me ha le mani piccoline e poco forti e di conseguenza ha il classico sloppy handles.

Acquisto inutile per voi, sinceramente; cioè, non è il giovane che si prende e si mette in foresteria e boom.
Questo è un professionista e deve rendere, period. Quindi dire "in che ruolo dovremmo farlo giocare?", "E' giovane",ecc,
non ha senso. Io avrei preso uno come Tomassini: l'avrei pagato meno, è anche italiano e male non fa, è un play, sa

mi sembra che le sue proprietà di palleggio e le sua capacità di lettura siano lontan anni luce da quelle di un play, di cui non ha neppure molti istinti.

Ripeto il fatto che sia un 6-1 lo porterebbe automaticamente in play ma per ora mi sembra che sia luntano anni luce dall'essere un play.

Per quello che ho visto io è decisamente molto più un 2 che un 1. Per alcune caratteristiche mi ricorda molto O.J. Mayo ,anche se più piccolo fisicamente.

Comunque dai vostri commenti mi sembra che abbia ancora tutti i difetti che notai io ormai un anno fa...
Ah, e secondo me non è neppure 6-1. Sono io 6-1, e quando mi è passato vicino era di almeno più basso di qualche buon cm...
