Il quid pro quo, per me è proprio nella frase che ti ho boldato, T.O. ci ha abituato qui a Dallas a dei drop di troppo, specie su palle non difficilissime, ma questo non da quest' anno, ma da un paio d' anni ormai, l' anno scorso mi pare guidasse la lega per drop (quest' anno c' è Braylon Edwards mi sa che è inarrivabile...).

A questo, pur avendo visto molte vostre partite, in tutta onestà non avevo badato.

Parecchio overrated direi di no, i mezzi ce li ha, quando droppi i palloni vuol dire o che hai paura delle botte che arrivano o che non sei concentrato abbastanza. A mio avviso se uno ha i mezzi tecnici ed atletici non può essere un sopravvalutato totale.

Miles Austin likely to miss 2-4 weeks

On his key third-down catch the play before Martellus Bennett's touchdown Sunday, Miles Austin suffered a sprained lateral collateral ligament in his knee and is likely to miss 2-4 weeks.

Austin had a productive game vs. the Redskins and was at the very least sharing the No. 3 receiver role with Patrick Crayton if not taking over the role. Now he's out.

Austin suffered a sprained medial collateral ligament in the preseason and missed the season opener. On the season he has 12 catches for 255 yards and three touchdowns. His speed was a valuable asset as a receiver and kick returner.

Oh yeah, kick returner. If Felix Jones does not return this week and with Austin out, the Cowboys will be looking for a returner. Maybe it's Isaiah Stanback, but he re-injured his shoulder in practice last week and may need surgery sooner rather than later. Orlando Scandrick joined Austin as one of the returners last week. Mike Jenkins might be able to do it, too.

With Stanback's injury, the Cowboys have only three healthy receivers in Terrell Owens, Roy Williams and Crayton. Might they have to go to the practice squad this week to call up Danny Amendola or Travis Wilson?

Che palle sti infortuni...onestamente a me piace Amendola e vorrei vederlo all'opera negli ST pur non avendo fatto una preseason degna di nota, certo non mi pare probabile trovargli spazio nel roster. Ma è anche strano pensare che rischieranno Choice per i ritorni. Booooh

Sicuramente una buona news (ho sempre sognato la coppia di CB: TNew e PacMan
in condizioni fisiche ottimali!) ma direi che "lo sceriffo" ha DECISAMENTE esagerato!
considerando anche che le 4 giornate erano troppe e che efettivamente diventano 6
(su 16?!?!?)

Una non buonissima, ma ancora da verificare, arriverebbe da Felix che ancora non
sarebbe apposto!

IMMENSO Barber che ha letteralmente spaccato la difesa nel 4°quarto (ma questo quà ha 20 polmoni e una forza incredibile!!!!! )
Witten mi ha impressionato per gli importantissimi blocchi e per 1a ricezione con ottimo guadagno
R.Williams11 mi ricorda sempre più un certo Michael Irvin sopratutto per le celebretions
OL su buoni livelli nonostante le penalità(Flo )
Romo ha portato leadership e un pochino di tranquillità nonostante i due intercetti
In difesa: nel primo drive ricordava quella del pre bye ma poi ha ripreso confidenza ed ha fatto un discreto lavoro
TNew ha fatto vedere che con lui(sano) là dietro è tutta un'altra musica e, come detto sopra, non vedo l'ora che si rifomi la coppia
con PacMan!
da notare che questa partita era vissuta dalla squadra con gran tensione...alla fine i festeggiamenti hanno fatto vedere una side line raggiante....del resto quì era un dentro/fuori

Rookie RB Felix Jones has been placed on the injured reserve and will have surgery to repair a torn ligament underneath his left big toe.

A date has yet to be set for the operation, which will be performed by Dr. Robert Anderson, a foot and ankle specialist in Charlotte, N.C.

Jones, the No. 22 overall pick in the draft, provided a big-play complement to Marion Barber and showed flashes of brilliance in his six games. He had 266 yards on 30 carries (8.9 yards per carry) and scored four touchdowns, including a kickoff return.

Jones suffered a partially torn hamstring on a 14-yard run in the loss to the Cardinals and hasn't played since. He suffered the toe injury while rehabbing his hamstring.

The Cowboys' medical staff, with input from Dr. Anderson, determined that the best option for Jones' long-term future would be to have season-ending surgery on the toe.

Just a few days after the Cowboys celebrated the return of Terence Newman there is concern he is hurt again. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Friday he does not know whether Newman will play on Sunday against the 49ers.

"Terence had a slight pull (Thursday)," Jones said. "He's working through that. We didn't want him to push off it."

Newman missed practice on Friday, and apparently has hurt his groin again, but in a different area. He underwent surgery to fix a sports hernia on Oct. 10. He has missed six games this season already because of injury in that general area.

When asked about 15 minutes after practice why Newman missed the session, Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said, "I don't know."

This would be a major blow to the Cowboys defense. In his first game back last week, Newman shut down Redskins receiver Santana Moss and came up with an interception and a key fourth-down pass breakup.

Il gioco alla 'Barbarian' che ultimamente piace tanto anche a Turner e' estremamente dispendioso e ahime' non sempre paga (quando le difese si settano giuste ci si massacra per poco piu' di una yarda a portata) pero' quando gente cosi' riesce a sfondare..eh beh...non ce n'e' piu' per nessuno 

Per quanto riguarda Jason,la sua presenza e' basilare e con le sue manine educate e la sua stazza lo sarebbe per molte altre squadre...

potrebbe essere che Jason Garrett il primo anno è stato una sorpresa, ora sta cercando di variare un pò il suo gioco, sta cercando di non essere troppo prevedibile, altrimenti in NFL dura l' abbaiata di un cane. E' per questo che secondo me T.O. e Williams hanno fatto un' ottima partita, se si guardano le statistiche, non hanno prodotto un granchè, ma su quelle incidono pesantemente le chiamate dell' OC

On Friday, Owens stood by his comments, even encouraging reporters to watch additional segments of the interview on Sunday morning on NFL Network’s GameDay Morning.

“When pressed about his problems with the offense, Owens said it lacks flexibility and that defenses have caught up to coordinator Jason Garrett’s scheme,” writes Calvin Watkins of The Dallas Morning News. “Owens said the Cowboys have not made the necessary adjustments to combat what teams are doing to stop him.”

Sinceramente il dubbio mi era venuto un pò nelle ultime settimane, Garrett deve cercare di cambiare un pò, il primo anno è stato una sorpresa per tutti, avversari in primis, ora magari non lo è più e quindi il nostro attacco un pò ne soffre. Non penso che la situazione sia così disastrosa come T.O. dice, va considerato anche che per 3 partite abbiamo giocato con Johnson/Bollinger e nelle altre abbiamo avuto un Romo non sempre al massimo; ma c' è qualche verità in queste parole.
