Leggevo proprio stamane che non c'è assolutamente la fila per accaparrarselo, anzi, nell'ambiente è riconosciuto come un giocatore soft e che non ha il football in cima alle sue priorità, fatto che nelle valutazioni dei vari managers sta sopra anche al talento puro. L'età, poi, non è dalla sua parte. Sembra strano, perchè parliamo dell'Mvp del 2005, ma la vita del running back Nfl è veramente crudele.

Resta il fatto che The Great ha perso totalmente il passo, dopo l'infortunio non è più stato in grado di avvicinarsi minimamente ai livelli che gli avevano permesso di vincere il titolo di Mvp e contribuire al raggiungimento del Super Bowl.

Rivedendo la sua carriera, una situazione del genere non è proprio il massimo.

Decisamente un pessimo modo per parlare di un grandissimo.

La practice squad molti anni fa veniva chiamava anche Taxi Squad; il nome deriva dal fatto che il vecchio proprietario dei Browns, Mickey McBride, teneva a libro paga i giocatori infortunati o che non erano a roster per altre ragioni nella sua compagnia come guidatori di taxi.

Interessante, io avevo sentito dire che la chiamavano taxi squad perche` ai tempi indietro quelli nella "practice" squad non avevano i soldi per delle macchinone e invece andavano e venivano ad allenamento in taxi.

Police allegedly found Jones in his car chopping cocaine with a credit card. Jones is holding his head high in his arrest photo, but he'll likely be cut shortly. According to the Sheriff's office, Jones has a hearing set for Friday. This is his first arrest in the NFL, but Jones was already on the roster bubble and has been a mainstay in Jack Del Rio's doghouse the past two years.

più che altro,perchè nelel corse son disastrosi,,quindi,magari dar a lui un opportunita come hanno fatto lo scorso anno i BROWNS con LEWIS

Favre can obviously still play at a high level, so it will be interesting to see QB-needy franchises hovering around the Packers awaiting their decision to give him his job back or release him.
